if he wanted to put it onto peoples heads then he would of floated one to the edge of the box!he put crosses into dangerous areas which if hooper was playing i think would have been converted!

I Agree. Better in midfield, nice left foot, the midfield looked more balanced and he's not feart of the huns

I think he can be useful in tough games, when nothing workes. His corners and free kicks were excellent against Rangurs. We need a solid set piece taker some games.

It's not his job to find a Celtic player with the cross, it's the Celtic strikers job to find his cross. He puts it into good areas and they should be there to put it in the back of the net. Take Forrests' chance just after we scored the first goal, he ran on to a terrific cross. How come when crosses are put across the 6 yards box but there is no one in his team there to run on to it, commentators say "terrific cross"? Simply because it would've been a goal if the other players did their jobs.

What good is a cross that goes straight to 1 of your team mates but they have to take 3 touches before they can get the shot away? Whereas if you put the ball in good areas (like Mulgrew did), the strikers can just run on to it and put it in with 1 touch.

Can't believe after one win over Rangers where he put in a couple of decent crosses that we are even considering him a prospect. IMO he is never Celtic class and cannot tackle to save himself. I accept he offers something at set pieces but his defensive frailties are too high a price to pay. Simply not good enough.

to be honest i near took a minor stroke wen he was starting left midfield but obviously he was in there 4 a purpose or rather sole purpose to get the crosses in and he did it well but in all honesty izzy carried him defensively and mulgrew also looked lost at times position wise, several times he failed to make runs forward when the ball was played forward and thus we lost posession and an attack, maybe this was down to the fact that hes not a natural foward player but he deserves another day for sure . . . . however i really think it was a lucky gamble against a poor standard of opposition, i couldnt imagine it working in a european game or even those other tough away days, no real ability to take players on and he cold thus be man marked out of a game unable to get crosses in. Overall he deserves another day out but its goina take a lot of convincing.

fair play to him. His combo with Izzi worked really well v Rangers. However, I think that was very specific to this type of match and I wouldnt like to see it repeated apart from in similar OF games and maybe away ties in Europe.

Mcgregor was * himself to come for any of his deliveries, i have no doubts a penalty box striker i.e hooper, would have gone to town on rangers with the deliveries he was whipping in. Remeber the forrest chance straight after the opening goal? Imo i would play him there until ki is back and at least give him his chance.

I don't rate Mulgrew either but I feel he deserves another shot in a 5 man midfield.

Anybody who criticizes his performance on sunday is over critical

Anyone who thinks this could lead to a bright future here is delusional...
