What Do You Think of Emilio Izaguirre?

=well mate i think emilio can play well if keep running to attack, just for me is impotant to see which player he can cooperate with, i dont want maloney to retire, but Mcourt is showing good stuff if he can mantain or improve his understanding with emilio we can have a great knowledge of how to attack on that side

 

I thought he was on loan or is he on a permanent deal, I hope this is just speculation but MAN U are ment to be interseted in the wee man. would love to see him sign a long long long contract

top class full back - quality find by lennon's scouts.
Play him with mccourt - he has awareness to cover for paddy coz despite all his amazing runs he cant really defend. He can also overlap down the wing when paddy comes inside and put in a quality ball.

 

Completely agree, i've rarely seen such a well rounded player as Izzaguirre especially for so cheap. Magnificent signing from the club.

 

he's a great player.. i think that best combination is izaguirre-mccourt..

= well i think that too , with malonely they did great eve the short time they played but i guess Mcourt is a great player too that can display more his ability with the back up of izaguirre

 

= i hope he can do this all the season and score more goals

 

= i dont know know the cost of his transfer but i heard alot that it was cheap, but izzy look class and hope he stay for a big time with celtic.

 

= i think the scouts did a great job the say how he played in the world cup and i think emilio impressed them

 

looks amazing in attack but I reserve judgement on his defensive capabilities until I have seen him up against a really good winger or speed merchant or two.

 

Not had a bad game for us once, superb signing thus far. As was Naylor in his first season so judgement has to be reserved, slightly, until next season i'd say.

 

I thinkt he opposite. Izzy is so extremely attacking and tends to go on the outside that I think we could play a more CM type player like Ledley on the left without losing much in width. I think Izzy paired with a poor defending flair player is too much attack minded and those kind of wide pairings in a 4-4-2 were a big part of our problems before the OF game IMO.
