Current Celtic Team in EPL

I think a lot of people here have got EPL envy. We'd struggle to beat the top teams week in week out but the second half of the table haven't got the same quality superstars that the top teams do who could hurt us as easily. I think we could do a Blackpool = 13th roughly.

Also whoever is the Sunderland supporter, your team seems to have replaced Liverpool in the standings this year. Brucie has done a decent job. Fact: He lives in Ponteland and walks his dogs while wearing shorts, regardless of snow, rain or hail.

 

I think we would finish 13th-16th first season but given a few years with our fan base, EPL cash and the fact that we would be the only team in the league with no debt, i think we would climb the league. Take away chelsea and man city with their sugar daddy's and we have to be one of the wealthiest clubs in britain right now!

Ricco is LB. Aye Meyler plays but not first choice. Good player but injured for weeks

 

They were hardly out of their own half over 2 legs, they just threw everyone behind the ball and defended deep for 180 mins.

As jamesy said, they were camped in their own half playing anti-football in both games. Aye they were close results but they never really looked like attacking Man U

Celtic have no debt now because they're not paying big wages . With epl comes big wages most teams in the epl have large debts because of this . Being a so called big supported club does not mean you'll be successful Newcastle , Leeds and man city all went down with massive support every week ( ok & the makems with reasonable support )

No I don't say it isn't overhyped. I say, that it probably is with SKY and that. I think it is the best league in the world. And would be if it was as it is, without anwhere near the same amount of media attention.

 

dont think its the best, the world cup proved it. Not one EPL player done well & England were outclassed by Germany who'd team was full of Bundesliga players.

 

That doesn't prove much about the League as a whole though. Thats just about the England/German national teams

 

The best players from the EPL( more or less) couldnt beat a German team with players who dont start for their clubs in Germany. Also can you name one Premier League Player who lit the tournament up? Look at players like Schweinsteiger, Iniesta, Xavi, Villa, Mueller , Ozil, There the players who lit the tournament up, no EPL players.

 

The EPL is the best league in the world. The W.C. proves very little about it.

I am not just on about fitba or techinchal stuff, the whole package in England is what I love.
