I would keep the same back 4 for continuity and allow Rogne and Maj to develop. Samaras to stay up the middle, give him a run and hopefully yesterday wasnt a one off. Maybe a chance to introduce Freddie if hes available but other than that, who knows with Lenny !!

i think id rather we play a full to be honest. if the first team can knock like 9 goals past them(i might be underestimating them) then that will just keep the momentum rolling on. its all about consistency now in the business half of the season and id be fearful that if people like kayal, ledley, izzy and others were to get rested they may lose that excitement that is probably running through the vains just now

I'd go for a mix of First Teamers and Fringe Players and have youth players on the bench:

    24.Zaluska

    4.Juarez 25.Rogne 6.Hooiveld 21.Mulgrew

    8.Brown(c) 17.Crosas

    14.McGinn 7.Ljunberg

    9.Samaras 10.Stokes
    Subs
    26.Forster
    5.Majstorovic
    28.Keatings
    31.Towell
    56.Twardzik

Berwick 1-5 Celtic Stokes(2), Samaras, Ljunberg and Keatings

i think it is essential that rogne and majstorovic both play because the two of them wil be wanting to build on that outstanding performance

Sure we'll give some fringe players a chance here, but I'm not keen on wholesale changes.
    Don't want to upset momentum.

I would expect the pitch too be in bad condition so not the game too be playing anybody with niggles or just back from long-term injury, etc. ( i.e Ljungberg, Kayal, etc. )

A rest for the likes of Forster, Izaguarrie and Rogne would be right and beneficiail i think.

Berwick are a mid-table 3rd division team so a second string should and will be strong enough to get the win

    ......................... Zaluska ....................

    .. Wilson ... .. Hooiveld .. Mastrojovic .. Mulgrew ..
    .. McGinn .. .. Brown .. Juarez .. McCourt ..
    ............. Stokes ...... Murphy ... ( yeah i know hes crap ) ..

Bare in mind some fringe players could be moved on before this game gets played.

A comfortable victory for Celtic in any case -- 4-0

As long we don't play with any full backs at the midfield and don't play with only one striker, i'll be happy.

Playing Mulgrew at the midfield to support the defence, and leaving Sammy up front alone could be useful in some difficult away matches. But it would be... well maybe not suicide because we'll win anyway... then at least pure stupidity. Mulgrew haven't any break-through abilities as McCourt, Forrest, McGinn, so we should play with two attacking minded players at the flanks. Samaras is a good card on the hand for Lenny in some away matches where we are playing against teams who'll stand high on the pitch. He's not the player to use in games where Celtic are domination the possession.

I would be happy to see Stokes and Kapo up front.

    wilson maj jos izzy
    freddie juarez crosas kapo/mcginn
    Stokes sammy/ murphy

might be a game for murphy to come in, more his level.

crosas, juarez and jos should definitely be given a run out imo

This could be tougher than the other Rangers game.

Dont rule them out just yet. For some of these players, this will be the biggest game of their career. They'll be well fired up for it. I definetly expect us to get quite a comfortable win but.:50:

Rest Forrest, McCourt, Izzaguirre, Ledley as they looked tired and are key players. Mulgrew should be aloud to push forward so he can show us what he done against rangers, and maybe Juarrez for Brown
