    Can leave:

    Loovens
Hooiveld (if we bring in another back up)
    Rassmussen (no need for him)
    Thompson
O'dea (never in a million Sundays would i play him)
Hutchinson (worst player i've seen in a celtic shirt since du wei)
    Murphy (see above)

    Loan out:

Crosas(can't see him getting a good run this year)
Misun(needs to get games under his belt)

I'd like to see us play this team against berwick:

    Zaluska
    Wilson Rogne Hooiveld Misun
    Forrest Kayal Juarez kapo
    Ljungberg
    Samaras

With guys like Keatings, Spence, crosas, paddy and loovens on the bench, should be more than enough to spank berwick and get some players match fit and ready for a tough january.

It depends i guess if any Manager thinks our deadwood is better than what he has ,Celtic have a massive squad of players and quite a few need moving on or if it comes to ,rip there contract up .

The wee coward Maloney should be first out the door IMO.

Our squad does look quite big so letting go of a few players who are 3rd and 4th position in their positions would seem logical.

Loovens and/or Hooiveld .. ( both if we can get another CB in )
O'Dea .. not good enough either.

Crosas .. he's like 6th choice CM - move on for your own sake.
Juarez .. let his pal go if he doesnt improve and show an appetite to play for us. is also 5th or 6th choice in midfield.

Kapo .. With the end of January coming up to decide if Kapo gets the 18month deal i have major reservations. It took him a couple a months to get fit and then after 2 games he pulls up. Looks as if he has a bit of quality but no use if hes a crock. Pass on him.

We dont need a major clear out - just a few let go if it suits us.

Agreed with those with the exception of Juarez who hasn't been given a proper chance yet IMO.

I seriously doubt we'll sell anyone for a decent price this window.

We've simply bought too many * players, put them on good contracts & let them stagnate.

Best we can hope for is to swap Loovens who has a couple years contract left to run & we got for £2.5m for Commons who is in his final year at Derby & they got for free.

We really need to manage our squad a lot better, no need to sign Lungberg on £28k per week for example.

Too many players happy to sit in the stands pulling money out the club, have not learned from the Bobo experience?

Rasmussen, Hooiveld, Loovens, * me I could go on forever.

Lenny won't get rid of every single piece of deadwood in January as he has said himself but he will get rid of a few.

Good post Conor, it's always great to see new signings coming in, but what about the duds that are bleeding the wages till, Cha, not good enuff as our right back, personaly i'd prefer a fit Hinkel, Loovens sorry nae chance, Zaluska, never going to recoup the confidence, to be our No1, lets get serious about bringing Westwood in, Nial McGinn, never going to be anything other than a Celtic reserve, Hoiveld no impact any time hes had the chance to play, I could go on n on, but we really have to watch we dont get top heavy on the playing staff numbers, because we dont want to get into the state financialy the manky mob are in. Aye i want a big squad, but i want a squad who are itching at the bit to get in that first team, but I know n you know that we carrying lots of deadwood, remember thers only an under 19 team now, theres no reserve team, so a lot of this mob are getting paid loads of our money to just keep fit, and taste the luxury of playing for a club like our famous Hoops.

We don't need any signings in january. We need to give the same players a run in the team to build their confidence and for the team to take shape and gain some consistency.

I do agree though, there are far too many players in the squad ATM.

    We should get rid of;

    Zaluska (not good enough)
Loovens (Will never re-gain the backing from the celtic support)
O'Dea (He smashed a hun, but still not good enough)
    Maloney (always injured)
Crosas (too much competition for places in CM department)
    Hutchinson (mince)
Rasmussen (good player, but will never be given a chance)
Murphy (Diabolical player, however, he only signed 6 months ago so the chances of him leaving so soon are pretty slim)
