exactly. cant fault him for effort but it's a pity he's daft as a brush. still it was never a yellow and the ref didnt even see the challenge

That is why we have to make an official complaint to the SFA. I don't think this second yellow will stand up to the close scrutiny of the link I have just posted.

Celtic employ some very expensive lawyers and QC's and I think we could
set a legal precedent on this with an official complaint.

Will definitely miss him and feel a great deal of sympathy for him tonight. Thought he played well up to that point but agree the ref was just itching to red card someone. Even predicted it with about 20 mins to go. He tried to pull out the challenge so for me was not worthy of a second yellow. Problem is we are so used to getting decisions like these that people blame the player for giving the ref the opportunity. I take the opposite view that we should a fair deal. Agree that things are only going to get worse, starting on Sunday. Watty has already sounded the battle call today by saying that his team will struggle with the fixture pile up and will need some luck with injuries and suspensions. Can't do much about injuries but suspensions? Watch this space!!!

Kayal, ledley box to box and llundberg as the attacking midfielder, with forrest/sameras and McCourt in the wide areas.

    Stokes as a lone striker.

Yes browns dig will be missed but kayal can step up to the plate

it's clear from the footage the ref didnt even see the challenge. he saw hamill making the most of it and that was enough. hamill's a disgrace for doing his best to get a fellow pro sent off. i wouldnt expect anything less of a scottish ref

there wont be any scrutiny of the yellow because there's no appeal process. i doubt an official complaint would have any effect whatsoever and certainly wont make scott brown available for sunday

Brown is deffo out... when will this guy learn he is captain of our club he needs to stop being silly. i dont think we will miss him... i would go 4-5-1 and pack the midfield with ledley kayal n juarez in the middle.. give them some of their own medicine.

I would say yes , but from what i have seen from kapo i would say he will be the bigger miss only player in the side that looks like he can make something happen in the middle of the park ,

hope to * he is fit .

Well the New Year game will be without Brown I guess, although I dont want him to get a red card, it will be no loss to Celtic in my opinion.
Lennon needs to sign Ljungberg and De Rosario and start them right away, * its impossible for them to be any worse than some of the ones attempting to play fitba for Celtic.
What a * shambles once again,
Paddy McCourt scored the only goal in the game and even he overdid his dribbling yet he was MOTM. what does that tell you? * shocking!
I am going to phone Ripley`s Believe It or Not, because I am looking forward to the New Year game

    * right we will miss Scott Brown on Sunday.

EDIT: Having seen a good gif of the challenge he got sent off for I have to say he was unlucky. He pulled out the challenge and shouldn't have received a second yellow.

Aye he was stupid but most people on here would rather blame the ref , it was daft from Brown and he should know better as the captain , needs to lose that stupid streak from his game while on a booking .

the ref didnt see the challenge. I assume his assistant told him it was a foul worthy of a caution dispite the fact brown clearly pulled out of the challenge
some people on here would rather blame brown when he clearly didnt merit a second yellow

I'm with you on this one. Seems that Brown can do no right in some quarters.

Was at the game and it was a stupid challenge that didn't have to be made in that area of the park at that stage of the game. He is the only one in the midfield with the required dig and aggression that could have got in about their faces on Sunday and now he's got himself suspended. I fear that we will now get bullied in the middle of the park and thats the area were OF games are generally won and lost.

I have really taken to Brown again since he came back. I was at the Killie game when we were absolutely abject in the second half till he came on. He took the armband straight away and was committed, dynamic, creative and led by example. His passing has improved, he is still as determined as ever and we are playing much better with him in the side. Lennon obviously sees something of himself in him by retaining him as skipper and playing him slightly deeper than he used to so I think we will miss him come the OF game.

If indeed it was two yellows there can be no appeal. Only a straight red can be appealed.

I hope Kayal can show the same qualities he did against Utrecht when he made his debut as I thought he was phenomenal as a Defensive Midfielder in that game

im not one of his biggest fans but i think brown had a good game tonight. He looked sharp, kept possession and won the ball back for us. he needs to do this more often for us though as i feel to often he lacks positional sense and wastes possession. for me brown, mccourt and izzaguirre were our only good performers. i think on tonights performance and in comparison to the rest of the team he will be missed.

As a team, we are so bad that the rest of the team are making this clown look good and trust me, he's not.

He's a Trojan Horse with no skill, talent, composure or leadership. As for him being captain, this is how far we have sunk. I suggest we fill a Space Hopper with sand and sit it in the middle of the park with the armband. This team has nothing. McCourt was the only one with any drive tonight and we've even managed to break him.

Neither Brown nor Ledley had a good game, they both are NOT constructive, intelligent, controlling, central midfield players, they are both similar to others on Neil Lennons Celtic team, they are paid professionals that play like * amatuers, they RARELY make game winning moves, they both cannae shoot, the only difference between them is that Ledley is poor overall, and Brown is an imposter!
I went through this bullshite for seasons about a liabilty called Bobo Balde, how the * any Tic fan can support players like this is more than sad, its Celtic we support, and they deserve and are bigger than crap players ffs! :47:
