Im sure like a lot of people on here have seen Celtic in far worse state than at the Min.Someone in this thread already stated before mccann, and there spot on, rankers 9 in a row,far worse time,s bhoys and ghirls so cmon tae *.
Personally me nae chance i could ever throw my scarf away, esp cause a papa gave me it for 1 and most importantly it,s a Celtic scarf!!!

Just a massive over-reaction to what was a freezing cold night and a very frustrating football match. I can understand the persons reaction but it definitely wouldn't be me throwing the scarf onto the pitch.

Probably a modern fan who hasn't really experienced the really low times Celtic have been through, fans that have been spoiled over the years, a bit like myself.

I've been big into Celtic since 2000 and it's the first time I've ever experienced Rangers winning back to back titles and on track for 3 in a row.

I've been lucky enough to see Celtic win back to back titles and even 3 in a row though, it just shows how lucky a modern fan has been over the past 10 years and failure can be very hard to take after a period of success.

I think some fans need to realise, we've been through tougher times and we've came through them fighting and we will do again. Just read our history, look at previous SPL winners or listen to your old man if he supports Celtic, what we're going through now is nothing compared to the football our fellow supporters have had to endure.

We are doing bad.. shocking even.. A results business.. 1 win at home in 5 games..

    Can't defend out a 1-0 lead , or a 2-0 lead , can't grasp the opportunity to go top..

We are well behind the points we should be on right now.. 9 points dropped in around 6 or 7 games since we played the huns.. Our two postponed games are away from home.. We have two OF games to play at the snakepit.. Our only reliable scorer is injured and expected to be out for maybe 5 or 6 league games.. Our biggest rivals have had to combine CL games with domestic games in what should have been a part of the season that was stacked to our advantage yet despite all that we are 2 point behind , having played a game more.. Generally to get out of a slump you have to win one match , then the next and that's your platform to build momentum.. I don't see where this platform is coming from right now.. It might not be justificatin for throwing a scarf onto the pitch but there is serious cause for concern based on what has happenned in such a short space of time since we got 8 SPL wins from 8 the day we won at Tannadice.

you dont do that no matter what the situation is. Through thick and thin, over and over is the song. For me throwing a scarf away is like giving up on your team. You simply don't do that. It disgusts me:54:

I'll be honest ive done it once and i regret it,it was the game against ross county last season and it was just through sheer anger and frustration at watching the club i love simply take a beating off Ross county and act like they just dont care. But to throw a scarf at this stage of the season when there is still plenty time left to win trophies and it was only a draw in the middle of winter is bad. Like ive said so many times since tuesday the season is a marathon not a sprint.

I wouldn't do it but it's certainly symbolic - those on the pitch and those in charge would do well to take note.

I've always thought that throwing your scarf on the park is childish.

Thing is, this time we have the financial clout over they manky bassas, and the suits have not used this to our advantage. Dud managers, and gutless playing squads have been the result of their strategy.

I agree that it's wrong to ever go so far as throw your Celtic scarf or jersey to the ground, but surely loyalty should be a two way thing ?

We all know that the quality of players that the Celtic Board have sanctioned over the past five years or so, not exactly what the vast majority of the Celtic support would have hoped for, perhaps that's why so many supporters have become dejected and stayed away in their thousands.

Of course the Celtic Board want us in the Champions League Group stages each year, but only to generate extra cash for their dividends, in my mind Dermot Desmond has no greater ambition that this, so perhaps we can start to appreciate the hurt that so many of us feel at the present time, we feel we're being sold out by the board again !!!
