Who's better , the lions or current barca team?

Who is better in your opinion
The Lisbon Lions, or the current Barca team?

 

Barcelona team. Possibly the best team ever.

Although the Lions were without a doubt the best district 11 you would ever find; incredible :icon_mrgreen:

 

barca although alot of the lions are in their 70s or dead.

 

+1 it's hard to keep possesion of the ball after age 60

 

These threads dont work ,the only way it would is if they played one another and that wont happen ,Anyway Celtic would murder that Barca team hands down.:icon_mrgreen:

 

aye the lions won't be as fit as they used to be.. so i reckon probably barca

 

I reckon Barca because the lions who were once a great team but wouldn't be so great at the football anymore

 

Especially if allowed to play wi their zimmers and walking sticks.

well it's a hard one, they were both different style of playing teams at different times, the lions era was (slow fitba) but barcas is (fast passive fitba). The thing is the current barca team in my opinion is the best team as of this moment. But the team last season never made the euro final. The lions may well not have been the best team at the time they won (I don't know I'm too young) but they also won the euro cup as have barca and the lions also made it to another euro final but lost it. But back then there was less games to win the trophy, but no doubt if there was more we still would win:icon_mrgreen:

 

Out of all the great classic teams i think the lions are very underated imo 1st team to win every competition they entered, i think barca 08 is the only other team to do it which is incredible, howerver the current barca team is better imo hard to tell obviously but the way they raped madrid was mindblowing stuff.

 

both great teams! we will never know though .

 

Lions.

Nae Argentines, nae converted Serbs, nae foreigners.

A team of pure scots won the european cup. Barca neaded foreigners help.

 

To be fair 90% of the Barca team foreigners or not came through their youth system lol

but still Celtics way more impressive but Barcas pure youth usage is highly unheard of nowadays and clearly still works

 

great way of looking at it.

 

id have to say barca although its much easier to play football these days with the ball pitch etc! but i think messi xavi iniesta will go down as some of the all time greats alongside jinky of course
