agree 100%. somebody should introduce him to maj and rogne too. no communication at all. it's i got it, no you got it, no who's got it, * keystone cops *. one day he may be a fine keeper but he's a bit raw at this point. better than zaluska is all he is and marginally at that

No he wasn't. i remember watching boruc being beaten like that countless times. he won us the game against Hamilton and he saved our blushes against St Johnstone with the score at 3-2. It seams like alot of people are only happy if they have a scapegoat :38: not saying that this is what this thread is directly. We can all have our oppinions but we could do with some positive threads to try and lift the mood.

I think we have more pressing concerns than our average keeper - it's not his fault the defence is completely pish. He's decent enough for the SPL.

he's still pish imo, not impressed, we need a new keeper.

no point trying to hide the problems by remembering good ol' days of the past.

Forster is becoming a worry. I thought he was at fault for last night's goal, he appeared slow in getting over for it. Now I don't know if that is because the defence is garbage in front of him, or whether it is Fortster himself, but he is beginning to look dodgy, and I can't remember the last shut out we had with him now.

Get Westwood in January as an insurance policy, and make Forster No.2 until he pulls his socks up again.

Agree with Doctor Venglos he seemed very slow getting down for Sammon's goal, like Dec says I see now massive improvment in Zaluska who I didn't rate too highly either.

I thought he could have done better for the goal, however the bombscare of a defence infront of him is the real problem, and early performances in the season would indicate that it is not Forster that i would point at for blame...that said he is not a longterm solution as he wants to got back to NU, therefore we should be looking at another keeper Westwood and Speroni are meant to be still on the radar, so lets table a bid and see if there is any desire on the players behalf to move.,...

Comparing him to Boruc is unfair as Boruc is the best Celtic goalkeeper I've ever seen and probably our second best ever goalkeeper.

Forster has been ok this season but there is definitely a lot of room for improvement. Didn't see last night's match so can't comment on Killie's goal.

The big man was at fault for the goal but so was Izzy, we sold Boruc in the summer and replaced him with a third choice goalkeeper...............:97:

the goal was the keepers fault, crumpled down like a building getting blown up needed to spread himself at the goal, was a bit sluggish

    nae good, we need better

I'm really not convinced by Fraser Forster. I thought he was a bit suspect again at Killie's goal last night.

I wouldn't say he is a bad goalkeeper but I have yet to be convinced he's a good goalkeeper. I don't think he commands his box at all and that probably isn't helping our centre-backs who have their own form/confidence issues to deal with at the moment.

At the moment I'd say Forster is a pretty average goalkeeper.
