This is a MUST win game on Sunday - I dont want to hear lennon`s gordon strachan`s book of "bullshit" excuses of how we shaped up well or kept posession...too many shitebags in this side to go and get a result at ibrox in 2 weeks time. If he wanted the thunder back he should have bought a team of guys who know what it means to play for celtic and run through a brick wall and what do we have ??? Niall McGinn. Daryl traffic cone Murphy.Rogne.Majstorovic.Cha du ri etc.

 

I am going to be bold and suggest that Samaras will start on Sunday. Unlike Murphy (who until last night I though could win headers) he can give us a bit on finesse around the box to help set up attacks from wingers cutting in or our central midfielders. We desperately need a big man who can do both though (Rasmussan is not the answer). Wilson might start ahead of cha, although he is slower he can put in a better cross, but I have a feeling Lenny will start Cha.

ive gone for a 3-3-3-1. although we only have 3 at the back, ki, brown and kayal are there to help out, allowing the defenders to cover the full back position if needed. mccourt has a free role to work his magic. forrest on the wing along with izaguirre who i think would work well on the wing, he is there most of the time anyway it just means he dosent have to use his energy tracking back, they will cross for stokes to hopefully do the job. brown ki and kayal can all go forward but never all 3 at the same time because that would leave the defence exposed. i think it would work.

no no no no. and it's not because i'm having a go at sammy. we get completely overrun in midfield when we play with 2 strikers. this is essentially the same formation we played yesterday and we were pish. this will only result in the same, replacing the players and playing the same 4-2-4 pish will be a * disaster. one striker and an extra man in the midfield. we have a seriously lack of ability to bring the ball up the middle of the park, on the ground and it's because we're outmanned. time for a chance because we know whipping it in from the wings to strikers that can't head the ball is futile and difficult to watch. i'd play 4-3-2-1 with broon in the middle of ki and ledley with forrest and paddy out wide and stokes in the middle. 2 up front doesnae work unless it's stokes and hooper and the opponent is aberdeen

 

too complicated. we tried 3 at the back and it was a disaster becuase nobody knew what the * they were supposed to be doing. ki and kayal are not wingbacks. that couldn't work. the opponent would go bombing down the flanks, find the inevitable open space that would be there, hooiveld would panic, maj would try and cover for him leaving nobody in the middle, the opponent sends in a cross that is unchallenged and forster doesn't come off his line to punch it away.....we're 1nil down.
