    any 1 recomend and gd anti virus softwaremy latest 1 has run out and im not to keen on paying for it so any help will be good

    There's a few on here mate. Just scroll down to the security section. I use AVG and its fine.

    Got to ebay, type mcafee 2011. As its the oem licence you get 3 copys for £7. dont trust the free ones, total *! Fully legal fully updated, includes firewall aswell.

    i use AVG Free, been using it for ages and have never had any problems with it

    Free ones are fine. Why do you think otherwise? Have you a problem with one in the past?

    I had mcafee a few years ago, did not like it one bit, really slowed down my pc.

    I use Avast Free Anti-Virus its removed at least 60 viruses for e already :56:

    Yeh, found that a few years ago too. Think it has something to do with scanning every individual action you do.
    Did use a corporate edition of mcafee from a friend who got it from his office, and that was alright I thought.
    I use AVG free now, does the job

    i use avg and SUPERAntispyware.
    i had error messages coming up all the time until i ran superantispyware then it was fine.

    micrsosft security essential is one of the best free AV. I dont like AVG very much though, because the amount of false alarm they have.

    and if you happen to have money to spare, eset/nod and kaspersky is some of the best.
