Sure they get paid a fortune for doing something you or I would love to do but I still feel, particularly after a good performance, they deserve a bit more appreciation sometimes.

They get plenty ffs. They're treated like pop stars every day. Crowds of kids hang around for hours every day at Parkhead for a couple of words or an autograph. The Celtic players receive adulation which few other clubs can match.

What's the point in abusing them? Some may have geniune reasons for leaving early, you can't stop everyone and quiz them about why they're leaving.

True. Some will have genuine reasons but it doesn't make it any less annoying. Still as some one else said it's their loss. Let's have lots of last minute goals.

That's the risk they all take. They're walking down London Road to their car thinking 'thank * I've missed the traffic' and they hear the roar behind them................

    AAAAAAAAWWWWWW NAAAAAWW YA BASSSAA

Do you feel that the players are undeserving of the adulation they receive?

That's not what I said, I was replying to Murdi's comment that the players don't get enough appreciation.

They deserve adulation - they've reached the pinnacle of the footballing world.

So..........what you're saying is that we can't all stay to the end

    but.........we can't all leave early

so.........a small number of fans should leave early

well done King_Henrik you've cracked it

When we travel up to the games we have roughly a 4-5 hour journey.

Leaving 10mins early can save use about 40mins sitting in traffic.

I pay for my ticket and I tell you something, If some little *, * up, told me to "get the * oot" or called me a "fvckin glory hunter". I'd tell them to mind their own * business and * off.

I'll leave when I want to * leave. I'd love it if Parkhead was closer but its not. I'm paying for extra transport and time out of my days, so I wish I could get my monies worth and stay to the end but it doesn't always work out like that.

So before you go shouting your mouth off take a minute or two and get the cogs working in your head. Then try to appreciate that not everyone has the same circumstance as you.

However some people on here such as Greendave seem to understand this.

Its disgraceful that the thought of leaving early on a CL night should even cross a celtic supporters mind, its actually quite insulting and embrassing to the fans who do stay behind and do support the team for 90mins+

My opinion here isnt as valid as most of you as i dont get very many chances to go see ma beloved team (for a variety of reasons), but im giving it anyway :37:

Dont be slating folk for leaving early unless you know WHY they are doing so. Obviously it would be better if everyone stayed to the death but its not always possible. I think it's out of order the way some of you mouth off to people who have paid the same money as you and are told to stay to the death. I bet if it were down to some of you these people would be strapped down to their seats till the final whistle went? Get a grip, it has * ALL to do with you if people have to/want to leave early, for whatever reason.

very few of the supporters have a valid reason to leave early.

do you think that making 40 mins of time or leaving early because they can't stand all the crowd walking out is good enough????

if folk have to work that's fair enough.

i also don't get over to many games as financially it's very tough for me to get over from belfast very often. i'm lucky if get over twice a season, but that doesn't mean you nor i have no right to have a go at these so called fans.

    edited for wrong word used.

incase you didn't realise what i had written it had nothing to do with people leaving early,it had to do with the kind of people who come to celtic park don't sing don't get involved in the game and then turn round and say to me.

"How Dare You Qustion Me,I Have Been Celtic Fan Since 2001"

they are this new breed,part-time celtic fan,who do fvck all.and then they have the audacity to tell you sit down when your singing,FVCK OFF!

    * fvckin * the lot of them."im trying to watch the game"

then go to the pub or subscribe to sky sports, don't come here not contribute anything then complain the moment people are enjoying themselves

have some sections of the support forgot what the word supporter means ? i have been to many a great euro night at parkhead real madrid, sporting lisbon, juve, barca 3 times, valencia, atletico madrid, ajax, dortmund , bayern, lyon, psg, kiev twice, liverpool, 3 times, all great nights, and many more to mention, but the last two here have been poor atmospherically, i dont know why but it wasnt one of those great euro nights i have become used to or love, and i want them back, we, are what makes our club great, and ,we ,mostly are what put the * right up unsuspecting teams, big guns or minnows, so get in before kick-off and stay till the final whistle and support , go home with your ears ringing,we surely dont need the music system now to direct our songs as it seemed the other night ,we are the conductors and the musicians all in one ,lets make the rest of the season one to remember, be it euro or domestic nights, and stay till the end, as its something we slagged the huns for years about, hail hail
