Can this pseudo-intellectualism be construed and brought down into FACTS?

Well put together that by the Trust. Look forward to their next open meeting.:50:

:56: Dear *. I'm sure you'll be thankful when season tickets don't get renewed.

Do you honestly think a significant number of people won't renew their season tickets because of the Green Brigade situation?

    Interesting.

I think it's an absolute certainty that there'll be no major drop in numbers come renewal time, in fact if anything season ticket sales might just go up after a possible unbeaten season.

I highly doubt that season ticket sales will go up unless this situation is resolved or there is a significant price drop.

I think that's a little naive. The biggest factor is going to be the pricing: but to think that people are going to queue up if we go unbeaten this season but have (relatively failed in Europe) coupled with all the discord with the fans is just nonsensical.

    We'll soon see I suppose.

Frankly, I don't think the Green Brigade situation has created too much discord with fans overall. If someone were to do a poll of season ticket holders/regular match goers and find out their thoughts, that'd be interesting.

Season ticket numbers will bottom out in 2014/15 imo. If anything they might have already. Depends on how the board price them next year, same price as this year or a further drop?? That is the question.
The green brigade will be back after the board see what they are missing, give it another couple of months!

the biggest factor will not only be the pricing but the fact that multiple tickets can be obtained for CL games. Let's fact it, there are very few reasons to buy a season book as no games other are sell outs

fans can save a few quid, but at the same time it is depriving the club of the same few quid.

If the price gets bumped back up by a hundred quid then there is no way the numbers will remain high. Also the GB situation is a factor for many, coupled with the stewarding and the legislation.

A standing area could well see a scramble for season books in that section but i don't think it will happen for the start of the season

Nah, I genuinely don't believe season ticket sales will be disrupted because of the GB. The ticket sales will remain steady, maybe lower but there will be no vast drop.

The vast majority of the bums in seats at Celtic Park probably don't give a toss about the GB unfortunately.

I agree that would be interesting ( if possible to do a truly representative survey.)

I think season tickets will go up once the safe standing section is in place which looks like it will be in place next season after the stadium is used for the commonwealth games, which is perfect timing considering Glasgow Council should be in a 'helpful, joyful mood' after the games, I might be a tad optimistic though :icon_mrgreen:
