I know that a fair chunk of Ajax fans are indeed not Jewish and that they have played up the Jewish history. That element crept into the Ajax fan base in the 70's and the club played on it but in recent times the club have tried to move away from this and have encouraged a section of the support to do the same.

But they do have a right wing element attached to them that can not be denied. Yes i'm in support of Palestine and other areas of the world that have suffered at the hands of right wing thinking governments.

The scum proportion of the Ajax fan base are right wing in the same way their friends at ibrox are - the vanguard bears/union bears etc...

Hey mate, if you think our fans are right-wing, maybe you should look up what we did when the EDL came to Amsterdam to protest. A lot of guys may be pro-Israel, or at least not anti-Israel, since we also have friendly ties with Maccabi Tel Aviv, but to call us right wing is something different.

Better having a friendship with Hapoel rather than Maccabi, do you have friendships in Cyprus? What about APOEL do you like them? Or have you links with Omonia?

Our support got a right doing over from the Thistle kids in the main stand. Fair play to them by the way, made a decent racket throughout the game.

You ever think for a minute that maybe people are scared and confused as to what is acceptable these days and what isn't?

I don't know about some of the rest of you but I don't fancy a weekend in the cells and then dragged through the courts for supporting my team.

Totally agree.

It is very easy for people sitting at home with their rebel songs blaring watching it on the telly.

But for those at the match having camcorders shoved in their face and every word that comes out of their mouth monitored it ain't so easy.

Our support have been targeted,innocent lads threw in jail for singing Irish songs,the Scottish Lawmakers and enforcers Masterplan to rid Celtic of the big bold songs seems to be working.

In doing so,it is ripping the backbone of our support away.

* all who support these actions.

There's plenty of songs and chants that outwith those relating to Ireland and the IRA that could be sung by those who are unsure or who don't want to risk a weekend in the jail.

In that I'm not agreeing with the law, there is nothing unlawful in what we sing.

 Of course some people are hesitant to sing a couple of specific songs that are normally been part of the away songbook but we have a massive collection of songs without these.

Aye there is yeah.

But these songs have been the favourite amongst travelling support for years.

Taking them away and replacing them overnight is not going to happen.

Those who made the law are achieving exactly what they aimed to do.SCUMBAGS.

There are plenty of songs about football that our away fans can sing just like they do at home matches.

I'm not saying otherwise.

Our away fans can still make a good atmosphere by singing songs about football though, because the IRA songs are currently under heavy scrutiny by the authorities doesn't mean we have to have a * atmosphere at away games.
