what's the difference between locking arms and jumping up and down and locking arms and moving side to side.

Both are against stadium regulations yet one is deemed outlawed and the other the club makes money from?

Agree with this....remember bring that up before...turning your back on a slope in the stadium is more cause for concern than the lateral movement

So am I correct in assuming that if this "lateral movement" is ceased then there's no problem? Is the lateral movement even a big feature of what they do? If so, even if it's a bullshit requirement, can it not be just cut out? Where's the pressure coming from on the club to stop this? Seems to me that there has to be external pressure because the club does nothing bu benefit from the GB.

Of course it isn't. The club aren't nit picking here. If that was the case, don't you think they would address that too?

Why is everyone concentrating on the lateral movement? Surely the fireworks, broken seats and overcrowding are more dangerous?

I took my mate to the game the other day, he supports Partick Thistle, but never goes to games...

We sat in area 107, North Stand, lower tier near Green Brigade. Half-way through the match I asked him if he was enjoying it and he said 'It's made me want to go to Partick Thistle games...but you don't get anything like that there' while pointing at the Green Brigade...

They basically created the atmosphere and added to his experience of Celtic Park as a neutral. They show fantastic support and it resonates onto the pitch too.

I'll be gutted if they're gone, the stadium will lose part of its identity that makes it unique in the first place. We're not a generic fanbase.

Lateral movement was done in the back rows of 111 before the section was given, why is it their reason to close it now?

Why wait until a few games in to close it? At at a time when the next game might not be for a while, in comparison to the recent bunch of 4 home games... Is this to avoid a backlash of sorts?

And why was this year the first year of the section's existence that the group were not allowed to control who could get tickets for it...? Has this been brewing for a while now?

And if the other rumours are true about it being a final warning, were Celtic testing the waters to see what the reaction would be like to the GB's statement before they ultimately made a decision? Will they backtrack now and make it look like a publicity stunt on behalf of the group...?

    CONSPIRACIES!

So just to clarify - it appears that Walter Smith has been banned from section 111.

But there are worse things than lateral movement that the section has done. Hy don't they just say the section broke seats or they let off fireworks or got us fined by uefa. Concentrating on lateral movement is stupid.

You would think, II Duce Lawwell would have other things more important to do, like, The CL and maybe getting, hooper and wanyama's replacements sorted out

the group never set of the bangers the other week, the group sat down with officials at celtic and explained this to them.

i agree the group did get the club fined, for making a point especially since liewell wouldnt stick up for the club after the rennes game..

but as ive said the group has sat down with parkhead officials and ironed these things out, but to now chuck the section after the money been collected is ridiculous

While I tend to agree, if I am being honest, conversely why has this excuse not been rendered void by the group adhering to the rule of lateral movement being prohibited? Would that not be the simple solution? The GB don't get to make rules about behaviour at the ground - the Club do. It's the GB's responsibility to adhere to said rules, same as any other fan surely?

The argument to the contrary is one i've never understood, to be honest with you.

It's the whole section that's being threatened though I'm sure. All this happened in section 111. I never singled out the green brigade.
