The GB have never suggested that what their beliefs are the entire fanbase' beliefs.

exactly and for a club that stands for equal opportunity it seems strange that anyone who speaks out against what the GB do are criticised.

Im seeing people on here stlll bringing the poppy banner into discussions about the Green Brigade.

A protest was shown against the symbol on our shirts that some of us strongly disagree with.... and because the Brit media made it out to be absolutely scandalous, our fans listen to them and condemn the protest, and 2 years on are still * going on about it.

Give it a rest and grow the * up.... it is, as i say embarrassing to hold on to the situation.

I know that mate I'm just making the point that I think the GB were justified in staging a protest if they felt fit inside the stadium, regardless of what that opinion was in relation to other Celtic fans. They could be in the minority of Celtic fans when it comes to the poppy, they would, in my opinion, still be justified in having their say so.

    This...

Don't these people realise that Celtic are well represented amongst the British Armed forces now and have had past players killed in combat whilst wearing a British Army Uniform?

Those who disrespect the poppy are a disgrace and DO NOT represent me or the views of most Celtic fans.

I'm not holding onto it it was up for discussion?

It would have been better not to protest or chant about it outside a stadium and just not wear the thing.

Just think sometimes their is a right way of doing something and a wrong way.

That's because they take themselves VERY, VERY Serious because they're all REALLY, REALLY intelligent people you know... Not like us.

Truth is about the GB is that they're kids and adults who haven't grown up who think they're a bit edgy and intimidating. Truth is that the first sign of a proper tear up (Circa 1980 Hampden) they'd be the first to run away.

I was up with a few other English based Celtic fans last year (the day of the protest in George Square) and a few of these mouthy * were givin it the bigun in the Whetherspoons beforehand... They weren't so brave when they were told to shut the * up...

Sorry for the rant, can't stand the *.

What football team a current soldier supports is of no concern to me. I'm not going to forgive all of their crimes because we both support Celtic.

The players who died in the world wars is a different thing and I'm sure you know that already, we are talking recent (post ww2) conflict.

    * the poppy.

    No, they are not.

Again, what has the British Army got to do with football?

I love how you imply that they think they are really, really intelligent.

In fact, you have made all of the above up.

I did not quote you on any of your daft stories.

You have said the GB are just kids and adults that haven't grown up, which is bollocks. As you have said, there's plenty adults in there, adults that know enough to be behind banners such as the Poppy one (which most of our support agreed with) or whatever else the Green Brigade display.

I don't know why you want to paint them as idiots.
