to all you haters out there, what would you do if you were in the green brigades situation? Someone or somepeople have stolen something of yours and you don't know who or why, I'm certain you wouldn't stand for it.

theres a famous saying by someone who's name escapes me..............first they came for the communists, and i didnt stand up for them, because i wasnt a communist. then they came for the trade unionists, and i didnt stand up for them, because i wasnt a trade unionist. then they came for the jews, and i didnt stand up for them, because i wasnt a jew. then they came for me. and there was no one left to stand up for me...........you dont have to be in the gb to stand up for them. but if someone is being victimised you should show your support. it could be you next.

They came first for the poppy banner,
and I didn't speak up because I was wearing a white poppy.

Then they came for the can of Irn Bru,
and I didn't speak up because I was drinking from a paper cup with coke in it.

Then they came for the Lennon/Lenin banner,
and I didn't speak up because the procurator fiscal decided it wasn't sectarian anyway.

Then they came for the drum
and by that time no one was bothered because the drum is a pain in the bahookie.

Stolen, Misplaced or Abandoned? I'm pretty sure that property left unattended in any place these days will be treated with suspicion and removed. Who was responsible for (a) leaving it (b) looking after it ?
The GB must be awfully naive, if they think that the club are going to assist them to demonstrate their disregard for authority. I was always taught to look after my belongings and that I deserved to lose anything that I didn't look after.
Please stop believing your own publicity. The support for section 111 is just that and not for the GB and their poilitics

I wouldn't necessarily say don't believe in their politics. Depends what bit of their politics.
From the hassle I've heard everyone in section 111 is receiving trying to get into parkhead, it wouldn't surprise me if someone did just take it. Anyway, if its a drum near that end of the stadium, who do they think it's going to be for? Probably the big group who usually have it. Will it not have some sort of GB symbol or something on it too?

they werent protesting about not gettin tickets, they were protesting about the fact that their drums were stolen. im sure if you left something at celtic park in the hands of celtic, and came back a couple of days later and it was gone, you wouldnt be too happy:87:!

If Celtic, or anyone associated with Celtic have "lost" their drum...then the Gb have every right to make a protest in what they believe is an attempt by Celtic to effectively start to "quieten them a bit".........

They pay/paid for their tickets and therefore have every right to walk out if/when they see fit!

Sat in with them v St. johnstone....absolutely fantastic atmosphere:50:

I think the other part of the problem we've got is that too many of the fans have become reliant on the GB to bring the atmosphere to Paradise. Some fans must be thinkin "och, I just need to sit back and relax, cos the GB and the other ones will do all the singing and chanting for me".

This isn't an anti-GB post, it is more of a pondering.

What if the Green Brigade went to another game for a week to show Scottish football the kind of atmosphere they are capable of bringing?

Of course, it will be expensive since they've already paid their season book fee, then the price of being in the GB and then the admission fee at Dumbarton, but perhaps it will be worth it for this experiment.

i agree mate, when we went down to the protest, alot of people from 110 and 112 who hadnt came down were singing away. then when we came back up, lots of people just stood there and stopped singing, and expected the green brigade to do it for them:38:

Personally, the GB need to drop the whole "everyone against us" kinda-thing they've got goin right now, cos for all the s**t that gets thrown at them, they do bring the atmosphere.

Now, I hated the Jungle Bhoys, thought they were a load of balls, to be fair. But what I did like was the way they done all their displays. Why can the GB not do something like that? Across the main stand at the next OF game, a big massive celtic badge, or loads of flags. Just something to make the rest of the crowd feel involved in what they're doing. You see it happening in Spain all the time, get it done at Paradise!!!

The GB think they are bigger than Celtic - they are a misguided youth club who are looking sillier by the day.

    We have to get behind the team - not make "political" protests and oh look at us we're walking out;

It was all a ploy to get them to stand up for the green brigade - I never did - they are a bunch of numpties - I stood up when just 10 seconds after we were signing stand up if ye h8 rangers.

If the GB don't like it - dont bother turning up.

    ridiculous comment!

These guys bring constant atmosphere to CP, sometimes parts of it may not be to everyone's tastes but he-ho.....

Obviously you spent too much time watching them walking out then...rather than the team...
