    he used to play for my home town team San Jose and ive seen him play alot. he scores some wonder goals and is a pretty good player always puts in a * but he should never be compared to lubo! the man was a legend and irreplaceable. If we were looking at dwayne 5 years ago it might have been a good move but he is getting up there in age and i think we have younger more talented players in the team.

    Its not comparing him to Lubo its saying you never know what you will get .These risks have to be taking we could of sat and had these chats about Lubo before he signed but not know what we Would get Until we seen it for our selfs .

    having seen him play multiple times, I can tell you he is a top class player, i watched him rip apart Chelsea in an mls all star match in Chicago... by far Canada's most gifted product in their history, when he was very young i believe he had trials at marseille but preferred to play in north America, and when he was at huston a dutch club were interested in him but he didn't want to go, and from a players perspective not a bad choice. A lot of people on here are quick to write off the mls as a * league. its a young league, not *, it is very well structured and the facilities and stadiums would rip even the premiership a new *... the clubs all have top class fitness trainers, nutritionists, doctors... a 33 year olds body in the mls holds up a lot better than someone in the spl... and De Ro is a top class athlete, still very much in good shape... but im sure henrick was too old at 33... we would be lucky if he came to celtic, but i would not hold my breath.
