transport wise, is it a good idea to get a bus from town centre to the forge, and walk in that way(leads to the jock stein stand:icon_mrgreen:?)

Theres loads of ways that are easy.

Lots of buses run from the city centre to the forge area, or dalmarnock area, both are walkable, forge is closer though.

Low level trains from central run to Bridgeton and Dalmarnock (but not Darlarnock on Sunday) and despite Bridgeton being hun-central its fine getting off there on OF day as theres a big police presence to keep things easy.

Alternatively you can just walk it via gallowgate.

I got off a bridgeton for the last match against the huns at Parkhead and there was a good hundred or so others getting off the same train, loads of police at the cross and only a couple of huns in sight. No bother.

I would strongly advise any Celtic fan to stay well clear of Bridgeton on the day of an Old Firm game. Why run the risk? It's a Mecca for Huns and is best avoided.

dont you have to walk down london road from bridgeton?. im no from glasgow, but that's my understanding of where it is?.

if so then im sure there'll be a police escort for cetic fans from bridgeton to parkhead, as we're no allowd on london road on derby day?

If your staying in the city centre mate, best way to celtic park is via the bus, as you might not be familiar walking to the stadium, bus number 61, 62, 64, will all drop you off outside the stadium, you can get them from argyle street, which is more or less just outside the celtic shop, as for a place to stay, you could try the premier inn, jurys, holiday inn, really depends on your budget i suppose. Premier inn is pretty good and not too dear, thats on argyle street too.

Ticket question Re: Old Firm, 20th Feb

Alrite lads, I know the game is sold out but I was a season ticket holder for 10years before I moved out of the country, my younger sister then took over my ticket and it was changed to an Under-16 one. I'm home on holiday that weekend, see if I were to contact the ticket office and offer to pay full face value for an * ticket would I be able to use it for the day?

If not would you recommend I try it anyway, I'm 23 and as long as I shave I do have a bit of a baby face:icon_mrgreen::icon_mrgreen:

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Cheers lads

You would be able to do that yes, think you can do that for 2 games a season or something like that.

The game is sold out mate so your best bet will be to just upgrade the ticket for that day :50:
