We got the same arguments and words last year, so it is just like ground hog day again, here we go, buy quality players and they will pay you in the long end, most of MON players did this but since then we have wasted millions on 1 or 2 million rated players:38:

Sacking Lennon now is harsh. He needs time for January and show what he can gain out of the league. Hes to attacking minded but it may pay off at the end of the season.

    lennon or the players

i like lennon and was delighted when he was appointed manager.but as the season has went on and after some really poor performances i feel lennon is the problem and not the players.i feel its lennons poor tactics and set up,and his failure to play to his players strengths that have cost us most.as for the players i have seen enough from them to feel that with the right manager and tactical set up we would win the quite comfortably.

    Well put....

We are staring to get as bad as the Engerland supporters with their sheer negativity towards every manager they have had!

I thought people were too quick to jump on moggas back, but for chirst sake, he hasnt even been here 5 months and people are quickly turning on him and were in a decent position.

    Take your negativity elsewhere

Going through a rough patch all teams do, don't worry about it plus for being a totally new teams I think celtic have done better so far this season than i had expected..... Just didnt think the huns would have done so well either...

TBH I hoped Mogga would be the man for us, still had some hope up until the st. Mirren game(the straw that truly broke the camel's back!).

On a personal note...i am truly saddened to see the negative, defeated attitudes of some within these threads.

It is the manager's fault, and the backroom staff too, because they had about ten or eleven games last year, all of the close season to scout and sign key players, and a third of this season already to get things right on the park. But still Lennon has not got things right on the pitch, still Lennon is persisting with this hopeless zonal marking, and still Lennon is tinkering weekly with the formations and personnel. The OP is right. It is Lennon's fault. I don't recall Mowbray getting the same leeway last year as Lennon, yet Mowbray had us 2 points better off than Lennon has at the same time of the year.

yes mate 2nd and a possible 5 points behind the leaders with a game at there ground where we havent won for ages now in a months time while playing absolutly shocking football for a while.last 8 or 9 games
utd away win 2-1 played really well
huns home lost 3-1 got pumped at home
st johnstone awaywin 3-2 started well nearly threw away 3 goal lead
st johnstone away win 3-0 much like earlier game except for shipping goals
aberdeen home 9-0 great show aberdeen were worst team i have seen
hearts away lost 2-0 poor 2nd in every department
stmirren away win 1-0 poor show last minute winner
united home 1-1 game of 2 halves we should have been 4 up.again dont know how to close games out
caley home 1-1 again very poor and throwing away a 2 goal lead
not championship winning form and nothing to suggest we can win the league

Your after my own heart :icon_mrgreen:

I wanted to see him succeed here, it was a shame that celtics lasting memory of him will be a poor manager when he did so much more for us

The negativity is appalling, how can we expect the players and manager to have this positive attitude when the moment we give the ball away there is a big groan from the support and people calling for his head?

That Munro for ICT summed it up, he said that hearing the negativity from the celtic fans when they got it to 2-1 inspired them to push on.

Were second in the league? How the * can we not be contenders to win the league? You need to realise that we wont win 9-0 every game, we will have to battle some games out, the divide between the old firm and the rest of the SPL isnt that big any more

If you look back, i highly doubt at this very early stage in the season, that the champions wouldnt have always been top at this stage. We are 4 months in!!!!

I think Mowbray would have achieved his goal at turning Celtic into a good side...but it would have took him his 2-3 year plan to achieve this.....which, we now know wasn't plausible for a celtic team.

The WHOLE of Scotland is against us right now...we are being hammered from every possible angle....what we need is strength within our camp...and not internal snipers!

What we * well need is good class players who know what to do during a game whethere it is to defend or boss the midfield or strikers and direction from the management on selecting the right personnel and talk of what the * we * well say on here has no effect at all, do you think Lennon or the rest of them take one blind bit of notice of us, not likely

Before the ICT game I said we have a good run in to get maybe max points till the huns game, * boy was I wrong, now not looking forward till we meet them because we can't drop any more points no leeway at all, and if we do then it is curtains, then we will see how the vote changes:rolleyes:
