    is this thread for real?
how could you seriously consider giving Lennon the boot, his record so far has been quite good. Its a new team, they need time to gel, and if Lenny has to experiment with a few different systems and playing different players week in week out then he should be allowed to do so... you all sound like a bunch of ignorant Newcastle utd fans who think its teir right to win every game.
As far as summer signings I think Lennon did quite well, in this current inflated transfer market he managed to find a few good deals. You cant buy a player for a couple million quid and expect him to play like Ronaldo. The club has limited resources and unfortunately the spl isnt a big draw for big names. Success isn't built over night, and ya we might not win the league this year, and we will definitely lose a few points along the way, no team wins every game. But before a club can move forward it needs STABILITY! That doesnt happen by replacing the manager every 6 months, I think we need to get a grip and just get behind our team, if we are going to criticize, look at ourselves, we haven't offered much in terms of stadium support as a whole.

I would think oneil sees his future in the epl anyway. However that is the calibre of manager we need. You can guarenteenwe will lose more money than we will make if we keep taking the cheap option

No i'd give him a season but things not looking good from front to back, In January he needs to bring in 2 new centre backs for a start, hopefully with the huns still in europe it will take it's toll on their team and we can get back into contention but only if we cut out the schoolboy errors

We need to stick with Lennon till end of season and take stock then. For me the league is priority however if Lennon brings in any silverware I think that will be enough for him to stay in the job. We can't keep changing Manager and team every season, it is the lack of stability and continuity that will cost us even more in the long run.

It depends on the options. Personally I have never believed we would win the league this year. We have talented but very inexperienced players (you can see how fragile mentally they are) and a novice manager. Rangers are battle hardened and managed by arguably the most successful and experienced Scottish manager in history other than Jock Stein. That just doesnt add up to a title for Celtic. If we had in the summer got in an EPL level manager with 5-10 years experience behind him and bought in a couple of quality CHs we could have won but I think it will be gone by the window.

Lennon should keep the job unless we get relegated.......he will prove his worth however it might take a few years. I'm not worried about winning the league this season or the next for that matter....Neil needs to rebuild the team and it will take time. I hope he will be our manager for years to come. Changing manager again is just * stupid.

Would love lenny to lead us to the title so far that reason i,m going to say no and hope he starts learning from his mistakes !! So far things are not looking good, in the big games we havent been at the races add too that even against average spl sides we look as though if we,re put under any sort of pressure our bottle goes !! His tactics in these situations have been shocking although when players like dan continue to * up bigtime its hard to lay it all at lennys door !!

I think words like 'he is a rookie learning from his mistakes' is one you should never hear in terms of a Celtic manager. The bottom line is we have been very poor recently, the team looks very fragile and we have been lucky not to be several more points behind.

but not changing manager is also a bad move sometimes if the manager is not the right man for the job

How could we get rid of lennon now. A new manager, a new team, settling in peroid. If they dont settle in a few weeks get rid of him also? Youse yes lads want to catch yourself on. Lenny knows his jobs on the line and the january market will be very important for him. A new cb. Also a big target man who can score. For more competition up front.
We shouldntbe dropping points like these however i think lenny derseves our support. Lenny will come good sooner rather than later.
    Keep the faith!

Since Bosman I dont think you can afford to groom players for success 3 years down the line. Its like letting players learn on Celtic time only to risk them moving on. I just dont think that approach works any more. The sad truth goes back to the lost 4 in a row. All we needed was a new CH and striker and we could have been looking at 6 in a row now. There was no need to completely destroy the old 3 in a row team like Mogga did. That to me is the root cause of the problem. We are still paying for Mogga's destruction of the old team when a gradual change making sure we kept a decent level of experience and continuity might have brought us more success.

NO!! Come on u cant blame Lenny every time. Rogne passed the ball to an inverness player which lead to the first goal, Mastorovic put the ball out for a corner which the second came from.

Lenny can only choose a team and give them guidance, he can't stop them making basic mistakes.

So 3 possibly 4 Managers in 2 years is fine ,you will never build a team based on that fact.
