    Fair enough.

I enjoy the rebs, they have been at Parkhead for a long time, and i imagine they will continue to be there for another few years, but the way alot of our support are heading, they will probably die out in years to come.

Rebel songs were being sung at cp longer than any person on this site being a celtic supporter. I would be more incline to believe that they were being sung from the begining (1887/8)of the club. It would be hard not to believe.
Brother Walfrid was more than likely a rebel at heart himself as alot of cb's were at that time. Songs of wolfe tone and the fenians were probaly favoured amongst the irish at that time.

So its in our dna as a club, but it is slowly being eroded by these apoligists of the club. Apologising for who we are or were we historicaly came from.
    Shame on them.

    A proud rebel.

    * Save Ireland was sung at our inception. These songs have been "creeping in" since the very start, it's not some kind of new thing as some would have you believe.

They will try their best but they shall never ever turn us into the Glasgow Hibs which they so desperately crave. We shall overcome these cretins :celt_2:

Theirs nothing better than the rebels getting belted out after a goal at an away game. Can't wait for Pittodrie a week on Saturday, days like that excite you for the football.

rebel songs are NOT sectarian, singing "oo ah up the ra" can be considered so

the worst offense is singing "oo ah samaras" whilst singing the celtic symphony, that is inexcusable :38:

    * doesny deserve a place in a song like that...

Pittodrie is usually magic, cannot wait for that one.

The reb sesh at Tynecastle the other week was the best one I've been too :celt_2:

agreed Tynecastle was * magic, so was Tannadice earlier in the year. Pittodrie was decent last year, hopefully better this time round.

Aye those two have been the best games for atmosphere this season.

Not been up to Pittodrie since Mowbray's first league game, that was a cracking day out though.

Aye i was at the 4-4 each game, missed the first one due to holiday, and it was cracking until about 5 mins left.

Both tynecastle and tannadice were great, especially after the Refs cheating in each game - the fans sang loud and proud to show they *.
