These are the sort of apologist * who'd have allowed our club to go bust in the 90s cos they are so blinded by their mentality that they can't see that you should stand up for yourself, even if it's against your own, which it isn't in this case. 95% of Celtic fans at games etc believe in the bias from the SFA, the rest are more on the side that the Refs are just generally *. Not one fan have I met, either friends or just by going to away games etc, has ever been embarassed by the club, particularly in recent weeks. Everyone is supportive, as far as I can gather, of ripping the SFA to shreds. The irony is that Celtic have kept quiet and allowed the SFA to self-destruct and all it took was one disgruntled linesman to tell the truth about one incident. Oh look how they have squirmed since. Them, the press and the Huns. * them all!

    Mon the hoops!.

    Why should I feel embarassed?

A referee LIED to the manager of my club. Therefore my club have every right to go after that referee and demand his resignation. Especially since he didn't even bother to apologise to the manager of my club until he was basically embarassed in to doing so(and only apologised by voicemail when he finally got round to doing it - coward).

It then becomes known that the Head of Scotland's referees finds it amusing to peddle an anti-Catholic e-mail while at his place of work - the SFA headquarters.

So.........let me see.........am I embarassed that Celtic are going after Scotland's referees? No I'm not. Get * tore into them I say.

Put it this way...if celtic were my old nan who got * oit of her head on sherry at a wedding, was dancing about the floor with her skirt over her head, flashing her * at the camera.....i still would not be embarrased by her.....

Why? Because I love her with all my heart!

The thing i dont get is doncaster and reagan etc coming out now and saying if the refs had concerns or were worried about the situation they should have came out and voiced these concerns yet this is exactly what we as a club have done and we are ment to feel ashamed and embarrassed GTF

If you're embarrassed by Celtic then you can't really call yourself a 'supporter' in the true sense of the word.

Celtic have finally, after all these years, been given an opportunity to take the SFA to task over the shameless anti-Celtic/Catholic/Irish culture that besmirches the organisation from top to bottom. It's an opportunity they aren't going to waste.

If we are all supporters of Celtic, it's up to us to do just that, now more than ever.

If you find that embarrassing, you know where to go.....

I would say you hit the nail on the head there. I don't know any Celtic fans that are anything but 100% behind the club standing up to the SFA and the refs and demanding equality.

First time poster so be gentle with me...

I live in London and get to Celtic Park maybe 3 or 4 times a season. That's not often compared to many on here but the night before I set off I am honestly as excited as a child awaiting Christmas morning.

I watch the full re-runs of matches as soon as my Channel 67 subscription allows me to and avoid the result all day just so I can experience a match as if it was happening right there and then.

If I ever win the lottery the first thing I'm going to do is call Celtic and buy a season ticket which I will renew every year and attend every home match and whatever away games I am able to get tickets for.

There are 100s more like me in London.

Celtic induces that kind of passion in people across the world and if people who are fortunate enough to attend more often than my paltry 4 games a season are embarrassed by Celtic then it is THEM who has the problem. There is nothing embarrassing about being a Celtic fan or Celtic football club. The club may not get everything right but feel embarrassed? No way... You've got more chance of me winning the lottery!

(By the way, its been a VERY long day at work, apologies for any parts that didn't make sense!)
