    I'll be supporting France and Eire at the Euros. I've bought my ROI top last week when I was in Dublin, btw why are all the tops only with the number 3 on them ,! (sorry no interrogative point/mark on this keypad). Is it linked with the trinity , That was my first thought when I entered the shop as I know people in Ireland are much more Church goers than french people.
    Anyway, I don't get it why Trap is so much critisised. He managed to qualify the ROI for the Euros, and if that was not for Henry's handball, Ireland would have played the 2010 WC ! His tactis may be too conservatist, but at least the players get to know each other very well on the pitch and they also get confidence in their manager. I think Trap should have given the nod to several young players in friendly, but maybe he'll give them a chance during the qualification for the 2012 WC.
    Anyway good luck to Ireland, if you bat Croatia, then everything will be possible !

    Hope Ireland do well but I can't see the progressing from the group tbh I think they will finish last. I'm backing holland ascwell but sneijder needs to get his act together.

    I can understand why anyone would think that to be honest, but Ireland always do well in these tournaments, of the three world cups we've been at we havent failed to get out of the group stages.

    That is a fair point and I am sure we will be very difficult to beat but the group we got is just brutal. We simply have to beat Croatia in the first game to have any chance. Unfortunatley they have a very good side and are probably thinking exactly the same. I think at best we get 2 draws from the games against Croatia and Italy. I just cannot see us getting anything from the Spain game. I hope I am wrong and we do better but we really will have to perform out of our skins to get out of that group.
