Well you heard wrong mate I seen it with my own eyes the over reaction to the lad getting thrown out was over the top , if a supporter refuses to leave the stadium the stewards/police have no other option than to remove them with force . Another thing that irks me was the swell of people around that area again , I had my son with me and at one poi t I was on half a seat due to the amount of people in my row . Next season I'm thinking of moving seat can't have the we man seeing people harassing stewards , police and causing friction in and around that area * off that I need to do this as I have sat there for 6 or 7 years and like my seat . I wish they would just stick to singing Celtic songs .

The basic idea of the Green Brigade is absolutely brilliant. They do a wonderful job of bringing atmosphere to the games.

The Gb are an assett to us all they just need to reign in their political views a wee bit .

That was the point I was making in the other thread, why should people who have sat in that area for years be forced to move, it's ridiculous that fellow fans feel as though they have to move because of the aggro their child witnesses in that area. This wouldn't be necessary if they just stuck to singing Celtic songs.

Without the GB Parkhead would be a library. Its a joke, if you think we would be better off without them then think again. They were the only ones who did any amount of singing of Saturday.

Maybe some fans have never backed them because of the songs they sing and the disgusting banners??? When they do something wrong they WILL get criticised like anything else in life :50:

To be honest I would rather they weren't there if they are going to continue embarrassing the club.

I think the GB add colour and atmosphere there is no doubt in that, but they need to give up this whole we are Ultras game because it really doesn't wash and if they took the time to explore the views of those clubs they claim are their comrades and who share a common interest in political views they'd soon learn that their not exactly like minded on this front by a long way.
Also they claim by their own addmission that they welcome the viewpoints of other fans on how they can make supporting Celtic a more enjoyable experience, first thing they need to do is listen to those around them, lets not forget other people are going to games for an enjoyable experience also, and if they choose to enjoy that by sitting down to watch the game or singing at the top of there voice that's up to them but they shouldn't become an inconvenience to other fans who sit near them, maybe a bit of practice what you preach wouldn't go a miss.

I luv the noise they bring and as i sit in a quieter part of the ground the songs they start are what gets the more timid singing.....that said political statements, drunken behaviour (which I believe is a minority) is damaging their reputation.....an organised behaved GB is an asset....drunk, ned-like behaviour is too much like the Huns for my liking....<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

Were they not put there to create a SINGING SECTION?????????????

All it has turned into is a farce, with Political statements, which bring the club down

I dont mind them they add a bit of atmosphere which is lacking although i would prefer the GB if they actually reacted to the game.
It gets annoying when celtic are playing dire football and they sing the same songs the same way no matter how they play.
its always 100 times better if they react to the game a little more than try and be stand outs for singing for 90min.

Comparisons with the Manchester riots ? :56::56::56::56:

I agree with this, reacting to the game, reacting to bad tackles and decisions etc are all part of the atmosphere as well.

:56::50: Its just a shame the rest of the stadium dont add to the atmosphere. Not necessarily by singing etc, but i wish they gave just more encouragement to the team, more standing, didn't moan as much and celebrated goals more, etc.

I think the leaders of the GB should have an interview with Celtic, regarding everything that's happend. And let's get behind our team, we * need it!

Spot on mate, these are the people who sit in silence at cp, n moan at people to sit down etc, Look fair enough theres been a few things the gb have done that could be quite distasteful towards other celtic fans, i am not disagreeing that, but if it wasnt for all these guys hard work, making displays, banners , tifos, which comes out there own pockets, then we all know cp would be in silence week in week out.
