LETS PULL TOGETHER

I am slightly concerned about the amount of posters recently who are actually saying lennon is a bit of a loose cannon and should be conducting himself better on the touch line.

This is a manager who in the past few week has had lots to deal with

1) Being lyed to regarding penalty decisons
2) Watching 3 or four clear penalty decisons in recent weeks been waved away.
3) Still hasnt received an apology from dallas or dougie dougie
4) The media circus who are circleling him like vultures hanging on his every word wanting him to slip up.

Ok he had a bit of a spat on the touchline the other night as expected but people (on this forum ) are actually saying it was embarrasing for him and are club ARE THEY ACTUALLY SERIOUS.

You also have to ask yourself would any other manager get sent to the stands the other night ( no only a manager of Celtic fc ) because Lennon actually didnt say much to the forth official. No wonder he was ENRAGED

Lennon is a man that has defended are club at every opportunity in recent weeks in the media and has handled it superbly .
He hasnt gone over board but just sayed enought to but the media the SFA in there place.
The media and sfa cant handle him or dont know how to deal with him because hes a fighter and wont take there *.

FOR THIS LENNON I COMMEND YOU . I WHICH ALL ARE SUPPORT DID BECAUSE YOU ARE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR FOR US. ESPECIALLY AFTER RECENT MANAGERS WHO WERE SLATED ON THESE FORUMS FOR NOT DEFENDING ARE CLUB WHEN WE WERE DEMANDING IT.

 

Absolutely fantastic post, anyone Celtic supporter slating Lennon for his "behaviour" should * off and go on and make their own minds up rather than take their opinions from the Daily Ranger and Scottish Hun.

Agree 100%. We should all give Lenny our full support, not this psih about him embarrassing the support

 

I wouldn't entertain these phone ins either......why can't our supporters just boycott them? If they don't get a reaction it will always be one sided and shown up for what it is.

Aye, Lennon is not, and never will be, an embarassment to our club nor a disgrace as some are claiming.

Neil Lennon has fought tooth and nail for this football club and he has taken a lot of * for it - sent death threats, battered in the street, has been the subject of a media witchhunt and has had to deal with some serious racist and sectarian abuse. And on top of this we have some so-called Celtic supporters giving him *, they should hang their heads in shame.

I think part of the problem just now is that there is a lot of unrest in the support over the carry on at the SFA, referees,poppies etc , added to that its fair to say that Neil made the same errors at tynecastle as he did against Rangers and unfortunately hes in the firing line with a lotta fans right now.
I did not want an inexperienced Manager like Neil to get the job however I will back him and show him support . I agree if we are united we can make life easier for ourselves. I hope and pray that nothing stupid happens 2tomorrow regarding the poppies because it only gives ammo to the media and a reason for them to slaughter us and deflect away from what the real problems are. If any fans are going tomorrow hellbent on embarassing the cub AND the majority of the fans , stop and think about it. The media are rubbing thier hands in anticipation , be clever and dont play into thier hands. If we stick together and get behind Neil regardless of whether you wanted him in the first place we can go on and win this league

 

I say to Neil Lennon, be yourself. You are the Celtic manager because of who you are, please don't change to satisfy the gutter press.
All Celtic fans should be behind him. I have said before that he can be our manager for years to come. The squad is taking shape, we have some very good players, and some excellent prospects coming through. Neil's passion for the club can be infectious, and hopefully the players adopt the same attitude as he demonstrates.

 

We all supporters , managers , board need to box smart at the minute as one.

lennon shows a bit passion on the touch line & gets slated for it what do they want him to do sit in the dugout & do * all when celtic are denied penalties & dodgey refereeing decisions.thats not his style he has every right to be raging with the cheating refs. lennon 100%

 

whoever tries their pish about lennon can do 1! at least the guy has the * balls to show his spirit and passion on the sidelines. he did it as a player and * well do it as a manager. so all who doesnt like it? * tough * then eh

great post by the OP. if we pump st. mirren tomorrow 4nil there'll be 5 threads talking about how far Lenny can take this team and the huns are * and etc etc etc. bunch of knee * bollox after a tough loss on wednesday. lenny will come good and the bhoys will be better than alright. at least there's only a few minor adjustments needed. remember this time last year, the whole team needed to be replaced. be of good cheer and keep the faith

Agree with every word. Neil Lennon doesn't need to change for no one, least of all the press. Celtic to the core. It's what we were crying out for!

 

You cant get a ticket for tomorrow's game for love nor money because the world press have bought up all the spare tickets just waiting for their slating headlines Monday morning, LETS NOT GIVE THEM THEIR HEADLINES!!. Instead we should spend the whole match singing Lennon's name and showing the worlds press we believe in our manager, in our team and in our supporteres and they can all put that as their Headlines Monday morning. Makes lennon look like a puppy dog compared to Puliss reaction. Howard webb ( 4th official ) had to practically drag him down the touch line to keep him away from the ref
