I'm disappointed that my kids will never get to see him play in person.

Hope this is a big success.

How I would love to turn back time and watch Henrik all over again, don't think we'll ever see a player of this calibre again, even if we do - he won't be surrounded by the quality Larsson was surrounded with.

Hes by a mile the greatest player Ive seen in the flesh playing for celtic. I used to watch him for the whole 90 minutes at times ,oblivious to what else was going on in the rest of the pitch. His off the ball movement was amazing. It must have a been a dream for the likes of stan and lenny etc as he .always gave them an option.

Makes me proud to be a swede, he is so * loved in sweden to, Zlatan is a big joke compared to larsson, i really get mad when people allways compare em here...

And the singing will be absolutely fantastic, both for henrik, atmosphere, and KAPO will see how it is in paradise, it will give him, and rest of the squad e real inspiration, i think this game can be a real cracker..

 

Think we could persaude him to join till the end of the season so he can reclaim his record?

The Proper Number 7

Seeing Henrik back at Celtic yesterday got me thinking…
He still looks in great shape, I know we only really got to see him joining in with a few fun games in training in the clips that they showed, but in the Summer Henrik did play in Soccer Aid & looked as good as ever (I know it was against Ex-Players & Celebs) but was still good to see him.

Anyway what I was thinking, if the Celtic board could pull it off, & if we could convince him, Why don’t we try & get Henrik on a 3 month deal? I know he won’t stay until the end of the Season as he has commitments with Landskrona & we have to respect that, but if we had him to say mid- January or even to the start of February what a lift that would be! It would be amazing to celebrate another Larsson goal for Celtic, but not just his goals, the experience he would bring would be immense & just the space that Henrik makes for others, his movement is second to none, & even at 39 would still be the best player in the SPL.

All our fans are screaming for a proper number 7, so why not get the rightful number 7? I know at the end of January or when ever he would return to Landskrona we would all be disappointed, but it would leave some great memories & how good would it be to go to Ibrox in the Old Firm Derby at the New Year with Hooper & Larsson up top? Someone in our side that Rangers would rightfully fear.

I know its really a dream & would never happen, but if Celtic ever did pull it off, would everyone welcome it? & How do you think he would get on?
As I said tis only a dream & one we have all had since he left, but it would be out of this world to see him back for us again, even if it was just for a handful of games, to know if we do win the League that Henrik played a part in that would just be mind blowing..

Didn't get sung on 7 minutes but there were chants throughout other parts of the game. He got a bigger cheer than the four goals combined when he came on at HT and the whole stadium was singing his name. I reckon the windfall winner was happier at getting to meet Larsson than he was at winning £9k...
