agree, everyone on the park needs to give everything, chase every ball and be snapping at their heels whenever they have the ball dont give them an inch and dont give them any time to make the passes. if we play like that i can see them getting frustrated and trying to rush things then maybe we can catch them out.:celt_2:

Got to go for it, as much as I'm not impressed with Caldwell, the United defence has frailities as well. I would like to see McGeady and Naka run at Neville and Evra, both are prone to lapses of concentration, and have been beaten by players who challenge them directly.
Man United are my second team, so, I'm well aware of their vunrabilities, hope fully Silvestre will get a game, he's the biggest dud at Old Trafford and makes costly errors.
Brown and Ferdinand are also prone to trying to be silky at the back rather than no-nonesense, V of H can certainly cause them bother in the air, and Miller with his tenacity could force them into errors or risky defending.
There are key battles all over the field, as long as our centre of midfield holds strong, and our wingers and full backs can stop Giggs and probably Fletcher on the wings, we have a decent chance.
United have had a great start to the season, but I feel if we're to get anything from them, we have to push, press and harry them right from kick-off, we can't afford Giggs or Rooney any space.

I totally agree. We shouldn't fear them, afterall it is going to be 11vs11. If our every player will show his best then we might even win or get a draw at least. But it's not going to be a goalless draw. If we sit back we'll get humped imo.

yes we will have a go when we can of course .. but we must defend well and sit in .. then counter on break and play our own game ... were against a good side for sure .. and sometimes theres no option but to defend as you are forced into it ... hopefully we can impose ourselves and show our own game going forward aswell as keeping it tight at the back is a must.

Have a go of course, were blooming Celtic, I'd be * off if we went there and defended with 10 men behind the ball for most of the match. We should try and get stuck about United, we'd be showing them far too much respect if we just soaked up their attacks all night. I say we go there and give them a good game, were definantely capable of it:50:

we have to fight for every ball and if make our chances count or at least make the keeper make a save,i believe our best chance will come from set pieces as we have some very strong players in the air because i tell you one thing if we sit back we'll be distroyed. They have far to many players who can pin point a pass and with the speed of rooney and saha we'll be in trouble but if we can force them to defend and frustrate them for peroids of the game we are in with a chance.Aiden will frighten the the life outta the mancs defense because it's there that i see the mancs weak points.ferdinand is very good with the ball at his feet and will look for ronaldo straight away which is something we have to cut out and watch we don't dive in on ronaldo because he will look at any excuse to go down.I'm also afraid that naka is a luxury we might be better leaving on the bench and bringing in jarosik because i have a feeling he'll play lennon a tommy g in the center and jarosik will gives us more of a threat in the air in saying that i also have a feeling that we'll play with 5 in midfeild and one up front

Bring it on. :fear::56:.. as much as id like any kind of result draw or win etc quietly confident for sure as anything can happen.... altho if we do get beat its nothing to be feared not many other big teams like ourselves go thier and get anything at the best of times ...also 5 other games to play( man utd at parkhead im more confident) ... and its all in the open anyway...this game tomorrow and benfica away is themost difficult .. we must pick up points away from home tho regardless if to qualify from group ... ill be more happy if we play really well and give a good account of ourselves whatever the score ... and everyones stands up and be counted tommorow .. thats all i will ask. altho ( ive got a wee feeling of a draw tbh)

Aye bring it is right. If these quotes that are attributed to Naka and others are true i think we are according these too much respect.Aye they are a good side right enough but so * what,Watford deserved a draw out of them as did Spurs and that was at Old trafford and does anyone think we not as good as them.We have good players too and maybe we do need to step it up a gear but what better place to do it. Only difference to them this year and being * in last CL is Carrick, hardly a * world beater. This is what we missed out on last year and i for one am really looking forward to going there and showing them that we are Celtic full of pride passion and no little amount of * skill and that ignorant Fergiehun can stick his patronising comments up his well past it *.

Bloke is a right piece of work alright, full of himself cos they are top of table but played * nobody of any use yet.For last couple of seasons he has been completely shown up by Wenger & Moroninho tactically naive and that Potugese fella does nearly all of the coaching anyway but after what 4 games and they are top ,him and his always * arrogant we only sing when we are winning supporters get totally carried away.
IMO not nearly as * good as they think they are and sale of Van Nist is huge and will prove to be a big mistake cos Saha is injury prone and Rooney quality that he is, is not an out and out goalscorer.Very early days in season to be getting overconfident

Man u have a bad defence which we could get a few goals through defend and the man u attack will kill us we need to push forward and trouble the defence

They have scored 11 but conceded 2 goals against 1 of them by watford

We need to pray that we get a winning goal from a corner or freekick

Man u fans think we will fall apart after 1 goal

Actually thats when we up our game normally in a important match

And below I did'nt mean like gung oh but push forward and keep the defeders back hit a long ball to kenny miller and he will hit it in

Also a header goal from hesselink
or a freekick goal from naka

we need to stop any balls getting past our midfield to their strikers which gravesten and lennon should do well

My prediction 2-1 to celtic a goal from kenny miller the other from corner or freekick

    I feel positive

none if we go gun-ho then they will pick us off on the counter attack, the best bet would be to try and control the game through gravesen and lennon
