Surprised i did not see any thread of him since sunday. Most people are angry with Glenn Loovens but of what i saw on sunday the answer is NO

Thought he was playing very bad: bad positioning;l bad heading, bad space.
Also thought he is a player who does not take any risks. Prefers only save playing and always giving the ball to his neighbouit player or the goalkeeper.
From me, he is not big anymore.

won everything in the air. he's a dominant figure in the air.

the problem is he's playing alongside loovens

Dan is good in the air but he's slow. He and loovens could easily be replaced.

Majstorovic is *, as bad as Hooiveld. Slow and cumbersome he was responsible for two goals on Sunday. He kept heading the ball backwards on Sunday under no pressure from anyone which kept putting our defence under the cosh.

I agree. 3 or 4 times on Sunday he headed the ball backwords when it was probably easier to put it forwards.

Also the amount of times he went charging for the ball for a header and nearly knocking 1 of our own players on their * is starting to * me off. Might not be his fault if he is shouting for it the whole time i suppose though.

I'm willing to give him time as I thought he has played well since signing and it would be harsh to single him out for criticism after that game were most players failed to perform. I felt he was very unlucky with the penalty and with the second he could have maybe done better but he was not the only culprit in that goal.

I thought he had a poor game on sunday but he's still a good defender.

I thought he was very poor also. His timing in the air is dreadful. Caught under the ball far too often. Unbeleivable, but I thought he was bullied by Millar on Sunday. Loovens was also dreadful. Any long ball, low or high had our central defence under pressure every time. Found it unbeleivable that Wilson was also told to pick up Lafferty at corners and set pieces. Accident waiting to happen.

listen its not all down to every defender we get is pish, drop any1 of them into the rangers team and they would add 3/4 mill value because they have a system that they understand fully how to play and if one gets injured ie papac another fills in comfortably .

He gets his head to every defensive corner, so yeah I would say he is big!

Easily first choice centre half he's merely experiencing the fallout after the honeymoon period every Celtic player has.

Izzy is due it in 2 weeks time, you can set your watch by it. Ledley is just starting to experience it slightly as well.

give him a decent partner and our cb duo will be one massive rock. anyone would struggle with a cb partner like Loovens.

Can't really tell at the moment. Central defense is really all about the partnership.

I've been saying since day one that Majstorovic is slow, so he needs a pacy companion to form a good partnership. I'm confident we'll be buying another defender in january, so we'll be able to form a proper opinion over february-march time. We will know by the summer what we still need.
