With Scott Brown out for at least six, maybe ten weeks it's time for Efrain to fulfill is early promise and make himself a main stay in our midfield.

I think he could really drive our season with a run in the middle of the park, he seems to have everything in his locker-passing,energy,tackling and goals.

I think him and Ledley should be our two in the middle with Ki given a chance too, although Brown was starting to come onto a game he's got a lot of convincing to do! I would be happy if he srtuggled to get back into the side, because Juarez seized his opportunity. I hope he's not the party animal that the Mexican FA are alleging!

    Thoughts please!:shamrock:

There's been a lot of high praise dished out to Juarez, and Biram Kayal, on the back of not a large amount of appearances for Celtic. We are going to learn a lot more about both of these players over the next couple of months while Scott Brown is out injured. I just hope both Juarez and Kayal prove to be worthy of all the nice things people have been saying about them on here and that they keep our midfield ticking along nicely.

Ledley and Juarez next game and if it works baptism of fire against the huns.

That partnership has all the raw attributes to succeed.

Fully agree with the OP I think Juarez has what it takes to be a great player for us. I would like to see Crosas get some game time with Kayal and Brown been out , he has been great in the games he has played in this season and he is one of the best passers of the ball in our team.

I agree with this, the Brown and Ledley partnership seemed to be ticking along nicely in the middle of the park and Juarez can fulfil Brown's role and add more.

I remember when we played Utrecht at home, Juarez was brilliant in the middle of the park. He looked a real terrier, with bundles of energy (just like Brown) but he had lot more to his game, which Brown doesn't.

my first choice midfield now that brown is out for 10 weeks

    juarez ledley ki maloney

juarez can do everything , defend , attack
ledley as the box to box midfielder
ki as the playmaker , attackin midfielder
and maloney as the winger , getting forward alot to create chances and score them

    say hello to the title

    * sakes, must have missed that one :52:

That makes it all the more important that Izaguirre gets fit again quickly then. If we have to play Ledley at left-back and both Brown and Kayal are out injured then our midfield doesn't look so strong all of a sudden.

Juarez is bound to get on the scoresheet this week. He'* the bar and missed a sitter the last two games.

    Third try's a charm.

Time for Juarez to shine and be played in the Middle. He's wasted on the right.
And for Forrest to rip up the league again.
