Ledley he gets in the box ALOT and nobody gets their heads up and finds him am I the only one who's noticed that? If you look at the highlights of our games this season 7 or 8 times out of 10 he's in there. But nobody passes to him.

Got to be Joe Ledley. Quietly goes about his business but does it very well. Good passer of the ball and, in my opinion, a future captain. :50:

McGinn is a shout, away from some from the original list who i think could command a bit more credit, but it's not as if there is a player that just isn't recognised.

thats a good shout, he's not the greatest but defo underrated, everyone thinks he's complete *

another one altho on loan, is josh thompson, lots of folk saying he's pish, but he's only young and has potential

I went for Ledley in terms of the fans. Everything he does is class, just goes about his business with the minimum of fuss, keeping our momentum going forward and never giving the ball away, a class act.

This. I rated him as one of the most instrumental players in our team. I think he should be captain so I dont underate him but I know some fans do. Ledley is just consitantly good every week hardly ever puts a foot wrong.

how come we don't get Susan Boyle as an option in this thread?

Ledley - a top player who will blossom if played in his correct position

i'm not on the lash yet but i agree with every word he's sayin:icon_mrgreen::52:.

ledley's the most underrated but i disagree that he'll be the next capo. i've seen kayal and maj have more vocal input on the pitch for others. kayal bosses the midfield and controls the transition and maj is a fecking mountain. i don't think ledley would be captain material. fair play to him that he's a quiet, tidy player but not a captain

How could it possibly be Samaras? You can't underestimate a dumplin :icon_mrgreen:

Split between Ledley and Samaras myself (why didn't Sammy start against hibs??). Ledley is a really class player, its no wonder he is a first team regular. His contributions on the pitch though aren't really recognised by fans, firstly because of his position, and secondly because of the fact that he seems to be a really quiet, mild-mannered, type of guy, he isn't the type to mouth off to the papers or brag like. I have been paying more and more attention to him though, and he's a gift, what a great signing.

Yeah what I also like about him apart from the standard underappreciated donkey work is probably twice or three times per game he hits an absolutely class killer through ball for our forwards.

Not wanting to drag Brown's name through the mud again, but he very rarely does this.

Think Ledley is looking more comfortable with every game...also heard Graham Spiers say in midweek that he thinks Lennon is now desperate to try and find a way to get Ki into the side.:champ:
