In those days my season ticket seat was in the "family section" exactly where the Comrades are now :56:
I was at the game and it was probably the best seat I've ever had at a game! Right on the halfway line and the first row in front of the posh seats lol. I remember bursting out laughing when they scored the third as I knew it would be the end of Barnes, it was painful enough but not the worst day I've ever had as a Celtic fan...the bottom line was thet Caley thoughly deserved to win that night, every bit as much as Ross County deserved their win at Hampden las season:54:

I was at work, was a student at the time, so used to work nights part-time in a supermarket.

I remember all the huns telling me we were 3-1 down and I wouldn't believe them so they put the radio on over the tannoy to rub it in.

Was a long walk home that night. :54:

Trying to deflect calls from a hun * I used to work beside.

With the original game postponed and if I can remember the Saturday before leading Hearts 2-0 at Celtic Park before loosing 2-3 then history for that period could have been slightly different.

Sitting in Parkhead with my head in my hands. A terrible night. That said, it was the storm that preceded the Golden Sky of the O'Neil years, and you don't appreciate one without the other.

I was at football training in ayr, couldnae believe it when a heard. Had a ticket for the original tie on the saturday and remember folk telling me and my mate that the game was off when walking through glasgow. Thought it was a wind up , so we thought nothing of it until we heard it from a few others.

A bit of guttering was hanging off the stadium if I remember rightly, was the reason for the call-off.
