Why not consider applying to the forces/services or maybe engineering or marine jobs where you do a bit at college then go away..

I tried for a few of the engineering jobs where you do a bit of college but all the places were gone in a day, they courses are high demand. :38:

I would actually consider going into the forces if i dont get a job before Christmas.

Markeybhoy dont give up ! Im 47 and when I left school things were much easier I realise its harder for young people today. Dont give up the college bit or if you really dont like college have you thought of voluntary work? It gets you out of bed in the morning and more importantly it looks good on a cv. Apply for everything you can and you will eventually get something , its a numbers game. I,ve been unemployed in the past and I have sons your age and know what you are going through but dont throw in the towel you have your whole life ahead of you. :50:

I left college this year and i thought it would be much easier to find a job. Every banking job ive applied for ive got the same reply " Thanks for your application but im sorry to say you have been unsuccessful " i can understand how it gets people down as its just so frikn boring sitting around the house all day.

Smiths Marketing Associates is a good place if you want a job. If you have any sort of retail experience they'll definently give you an interview. It's on comission but if thats a problem for you although there are great promotion prospects and you can be running your own branch in about a year's time if you stick at it

Lol tbh mate im a lazy * i wasnt dumb at school just so lazy, i left at 16 to do a HNC in Civil Engineering dropped out of that coz i didnt have a scooby about what the lecturers were talking about. I went to work in a bank for a year and decided i would do a course in Business, that lasted 2 years and im now nearly 20 and unemployed. my day consists of sleeping till mid afternoon, comming on the laptop, playing MW2 on xbox and then at the w.e if i have any money to go out and get a few drinks i will lol.
