Anyhow why was it in the wrong thread?? It affected Celtic with the extra cash generated from Jamboos gettin * out the CL.

I had a thread deleted/moved or something...It was a post i made regarding people putting the sources and date/time to quotes they cut and paste from news items found on other sites. I did get into a bit of a slagging match with another board member (minor stuff/jocular banter) as i saw it... He called me '*'..... i questioned his right to wear long trousers....handbag stuff. Now i cannot find the thread.....can one of the mods tell me if it was deleted....Not complaining, just curious as i cant find it now. Thanks.

 

Surely it would just be like saying I could post the Rangers score in the Celtic part of the forum as it affects Celtic as Rangers didn't get points - therefore giving Celtic a greater point advantage. If it's not directly affecting Celtic then I'd just post it somewhere else mate.

The thread could have been merged into another, do you subscribe to the threads you post in? That keeps track of posts in merged threads.

Go to your User CP, select Edit Options. Read down until you see Default Thread Subscription. Set that to email notification and save settings.

Two things happen, an email is recieved when someone posts in a thread that you've posted in. In your User CP you can see all the threads you've subscribed that have been replied to since you read them last.

wanmadtim - you're thread in the News section shouldn't have appeared there. There was an error in that area of the forum and you're thread - which wasn't Celtic news at all - appeared as News on our site's main page and on NewsNow where thousands of tims view daily.

We had to delete it immediately and correct the error which allowed you to post in there.

If you have a suggestion or question, please post it in the 'Announcements, Feedback and Questions' forum we have which is for that sort of thing. Alternatively you can contact any mod or admin and we will get to you as soon as possible.

Makes things much easier.
