Good news. Think he has lots of potential.

 

I think he is a trier, and a good squadman, but if he had potential it would have been much more evident by now, what you see is what you get, and there aint no more!

 

pearo lacks a lil confidence ....but thats because he doesnt get games....give him a chance...and im sure he ll prove himself....but i ll be happy when he signs a new contract ...he plays for the jersey ....unlike a lot at cp these days.

 

Imo pearo has done amazing considing he hardly gets a game 1 full season under his belt in the middle of te park and he will be great imo

 

completely argee with you m8, if we sell Stan, we dont need to buy anyone in. If i were WTS, i'd sell Stan, and tell Pearo he had until January to prove hes worth a place in the first team, i'd play him week in week out, if he wasnt good enough i'd sell him in January and bring in a midfielder with the Petrov money.

I think he's a little overrated. He has had sufficient time to show his true worth and has failed to deliver. I mean the boy has had 3 good games in his Celtic career and he was a sub in two of them.

 

hes only had about 20 games in his Celtic career! i always remember him against Barca in the Nou Camp when Marsh and Kennedy were playing too, Pearson was fantastic that night. If he had been played most weeks from that point until now, we would all be excited by the fact hes signing a new deal.

 

I have no idea how you can claim he's over-rates. No one here is saying he's a great player, we all just think he's going to give us 110% and that he's a good squad player. Personally I'd love to see him get a wee run in the team, think he could still do a good wee job for us.

Pearson's a cracking player to have in your squad, but he aint a first pick by any means. If he can see this and accept the label 'good squad player' he will deffo sign a new contract, which is nice. Hope he does, gives us good cover

 

Think there is a lot to come from the Guy ,have always thought he would make a good player if given the chance ..Thats the problem he Has yet to have his chance ..

 

well chuffed by the news pearo was the best of a bad bunch at caley the other day and proved he likes to drive in the box like stan when he scored his goal

 

I dont think he has what it takes to succeed against a reasonably tight midfield, given space, like anyone, he'll punish teams. Certainly not the worst player to have but i think he's reached his potential.
