who would you say is the biggest unsung hero in the history of celtic? the man that never got the credit that you think he shouldve.

according to my dad, bobby murdoch was the arguably the best of the lisbon lions, but he isnt held in the same regard as the likes of johnstone or mcneil.

Bobby Evans, Jimmy Quinn, Patsy Gallacher, Charlie Tully and Bertie Peacock are players who are maybe not given enough recognisation that they maybe deserve.

George Connolly had the World at his feet and walked away from it ,one of my favourite all time players.

A whole lot of people could be included in that one, but what about Charlie Gallagher.
Those corner kicks against Dumfermline and Vodjvodina,oh the memories.

Scott Brown without a shadow of a doubt :icon_mrgreen:

I would actually say Neil Lennon, did alot of dirty work on the pitch and won us alot of games by helping to win the vital midfield battle.

Neil Lennon for me. even at the time he was playing for us i didnt give him much credit because i focused on Larsson too much lol, but when he left i finally realised what he actually brought to the team

Lennon is a great shout simply because he had the shittiest job in that team ,He had it down to a T ,nothing fancy just broke up the others team advances and played the easy ball,no 40-50 yards passes from Lennon ,that wasnt in his locker just kept it simple and made it look easy but it was probaly one of the hardest positions in the team.
