Off the top of my head Neil Lennon has been in charge of 17 games and won 15. Yet according to The Sun he is bookies favourate for the first boss to get the boot. Reading the phone in's its just full of negative celtic fans yet the vast majority of the fans on the forums are behind Lennon. The fact of the matter is the media are choking for Lennon to fail. Choking for it. The negative stories can sway the weaker minded celtic fans. Dont be one of them. We are on the right track. Sure, we're out of Europe but Europe came to soon to a team who is still gelling and Lennon wasnt blameless, in my opinion he put the wrong team out, O Neil made mistakes too. The league is the priority, 3 games so far, 3 wins, 6 goals scored for, 0 against. On the other side of Glasgow Rangers have scored just 1 more than us and let in 2, a few injuries and they r in trouble. Im hugely confident still the league will be Celtics come 2011 and dont believe the hype. :50:

I will settle when Lenny leads us to a victory in a high pressure game, which he has failed to do so far. (Ross County, Braga, Utrecht)

He has won every single SPL game he has managed Celtic in, if that continues he will win the league which is what he was brought in to do.

There are massive question marks over him still but there are also massive signs he will bring back the title. That is all we can ask of him.

i remember the season when MON took us to 25 wins in a row, i think it was that anyway, the season we got 103 points, i think it was 01/02,i was about 7

who says we cant do that again? we have the depth and the players to do it, clean sheets are what we've been lacking maybe.

I'm right behind Lennon but having no European football to look forward to is a big blow to the fans and the club. Can't get put out of 2 euro competitions before august is up and not expect some negativity.

Ross county wasnt a high pressure game and he was just in the job then as well, a harsh lesson learned. Besides havent we lost in the cup to Inverness and Clyde of recent years. Nothing new. As I said, Europe came too soon for a new team and you cant tell me the Rangers game Lenny won last season wasnt a high pressure game. All Old firm games are high pressure games and as far as im concerned, that result was the only thing worth smiling about last season.

Well nobody is above criticism and it is a blow to the fans and finances but like I said, it came too soon for a team still gelling. Point im making is some fans are getting hysterical and the media are fueling it and easily swayed fans are believing the negative hype.

In MON first we did nothing in Europe and won the league. GS first season we had the Bratislavia game, and went on to win the league. So Lennon has just the league to concentrate on, and I think thatwinning back the league is the most important this season. So it will be the leauge this season, and the Champions League Winners next season.

    Hail! Hail!

Won every home game, domestic and European.

Won every league game, including against Rangers and all the post-split teams.

The longest amount of consecutive victories in the SPL for any new Celtic manager.

A team with fight and determination; new signings who seem to understand what this club is about; ambition in the transfer market; allowing young players to get their chance and, in Forrest, one of the most exciting prospects to come out of the youth system in years.

The futures bright - the futures ginger. :icon_mrgreen:
