so do you not think he's been our best player this season?????

mcgeady has potential to be world class. as for your comment on him being a greedy '*', i disagree. we are crying out (celtic and all football fans in general) for a player that runs at and terrorises defences. a few times he over does it, but in time he'll learn when to play the right ball. even ronaldinho is guilty of over doing it ffs.

Aiden McGeady has been our best player so far this season along with Petrov.

I'd drop Naka for Maloney before i'd drop McGeady

Totally agree Celtic's MOM in every game so far except V Hearts when everyone was poor. Maloney & McGeady on the wings, Class!:50:

Agree with that ...Naka is a wonderful talent but in the hustle and bustle of the SPL he gets knocked off the ball too easily .Its an area he needs to work on ,having said that i believe that the CL is his stage to take ,the pace of the games will suit his style of play..

Anyway back on topic ,shouldnt be too long now before we get a decision on TG .

    Gravesen Completes Celtic move
Real Madrid midfielder Thomas Gravesen has said he has agreed terms with Celtic and will complete his move tommorrow ahead of the transfer window closing.

"I can only say Gordon Strachan, John Sivebaek (Gravesen's agent) and myself have come to an agreement and we are going to release a statement tomorrow," Gravesen told the Daily Record.

maloney and mcgeady both play the same position, neither are as effective on the other side or up front so it's a straight choice and i dont care how well he's playing he's only half the player shaun is so it's an easy choice - you play your best team.

naka is * class and is the most skillful and gifted player at CP by a distance. no way do you drop him on the stage he was born to play on. we will see the very best of him in C:L were he wont have some jobber booting * out of him like in scotland. for years in the CL we have moaned about wanting a player of naka's ability to help open up the best teams now we have one you want him dropped :31:

that's your opinion son, but to say naka'a a better player than aiden is ridiculious. we have also been crying out for a player like aiden, a player that'll runa defences.

McGeady, Maloney & Nakamura can play on either wing and in the centre without any difficulty.

In Scotland, other teams hack everybody. In Europe, they are smarter, they'll know just hack Naka out of it. Teams are tactically of a far superior standard in the CL and to think that they wont know how to put a player off his game is very naive

McGeady is as good on the left as he is on the right he can clip a cross in with either foot and if you ever watch his goals you will see that most of them is a run down the left he thens cuts inside the defender and places it in the far corner with his right peg..

Dont get me wrong Naka is more skilful than McGeady and would be more effective in Europe but you cant possible drop Aid while he's in the form he's in at the mo.. Surely you can agree with that...

Let's get back to Gravesen on this thread shall we?

Is it just me or does anyone else think this kind of money and hype for an average 30 year old who has hardly kicked a ball for a year is a bit much?

No actually. And the last time he kicked a ball was in May, in La Liga. He's got the pedigree. Graveson will become one of the best players to sign for celtic, if he does!

He's played at the top level, so we need his experience in the CL. And before he went to Real, even Man U were after him.
