DERMOT DESMOND, I HATE HIM

it has occured to me that whilst peter lawell goes cap in hand to clubs ,players and agents trying to sign middle of the road players whilst we are being ridiculed in europe by average clubs, that dermot desmond is taking the *. does anyone else agree or am i being unfair?

 

You are being unfair. I would like to know your age. Not that I want to ridicule you, just I want to know if you would know what he has done for the club ie stumping up the money for Lennox town. Fair enough he maybe got it back by now but he had to put it up for it to be built. Also I think you would be suprised by the ammount of money that he has spent on Celtic over the years. He is a Business man and should be seen as such

The only point i would ever have with dermot is his choice of managers, he has the final say in who gets to be manager and he chose a former celtic player in Tony Mowbray who was an absolute failure and then he chose a Rookie in managerial terms after a complete failure, im not against lennon but his lack of experience was shown last night in team selection and tactical formation.

on desmond , perhaps it was a rash thread, i just think , for a man worth £1.5 billion should be prepared to spend more.

not even worth an answer , but will give one just to be the better person ,no one on here knows how much he gives to the club ,but it will be more than we think, we can only spend relative to what we earn through fans , sponsorship,media ,players and being in scotland its nowhere near the amount what we all want to see spent .

 

Well not me, i would have changed one thing and i have said it at least 10 times, Maloney for Forrest, small change but in my opinion would have made a huge difference.

 

'just to be polite' would have sufficed .everybody is equal.
