About time. Why couldn't this have been done a month ago? He's had his moments but more often than not have found it hard to believe this guy gets paid to play football

IMO this had to happen. We cant keep saying that he holds the ball well and plays good passes and does this and that but never finds the goal, most of his hold up play is followed by a bad pass and he is very hard to watch at best.

But if he goes Sammy has to also. Maybe that is why we are looking at 2 strikers or forward players

Instead of taking £2.25 million for Fortune, we should offer them Samaras as well and just take £2million for the both, it would cost us £250,000 to get rid of Samaras but if that's what it takes :50::bbpd:

we signed him as a striker and has done * all. now he is doing * all in midfield would much rather mccort, mc ginn or maloney was given a chance in that position as i believe they would contribute more to our team.

I've been reading through this thread since it was first created and had a few good laughs and tried to post sensibly in here. Before yesterday's game people seemed to really like this guy and were raving about him out wide, lol. It comes down to an easy question though, where's the goals? We have midfielders, we have wingers who can actually cross the ball well. Fortune is a striker, he has one job and one job only. If he fails to accomplish the basics than we need to sell and get as much back on his contract as possible.

Well thats one less scapegoat the fans can blame, pretty sure we will find a new one though.

Good luck Marc, hope the Baggie fans treat you better.
