Both cut from the same cloth I think however I see MON as more pragmatic and NL as more optimistic, maybe lennys optimism will diminish in time but at the moment I like it, we're playing with heaps of confidence and I enjoyed hearing the fans on the telly singing again instead of moaning and groaning, probably not been that vocal since MON.
I just hope and pray and ill say my prayers that Celtic end the season win the Europa in Dublin...
    Its got to be.

Hard to say so early on.. O'Neil went for muscle and athleticism in pretty much every area of the park which he did at every club he's managed , and it looks like Lenny is going down that route now , except that O'Neils forward play was build on strikers who were often target men focal points of attacks in Hartson , Sutton , Heskey and Carew and the wide men he used had great delivery to feed them.. (Agathe being the exception)

I'd like to see Lenny bring in a target man type but clearly Rasmussen wasn't in his plans and Fortune and Samaras aren't capable of doing that job.. I still think there's room for a target man IF Sammy and Fortune are used in wide roles or if one of them is sold.. We don't have that many out balls which is something O'Neil loved to have and I think Lenny would prefer to have the long punt as an option because we're not going to pass through teams every weak as easily as we did against St Mirren..

I'd hazard a guess that they both have the same no nonsense man management skills where they are hard but fair and don't tolerate chancers..

One important difference, Lenny already has his team playing attractive passing football.

MON's favoured style of play never really did it for me. If he hadn't inherited Lubo and Henrik, I suspect we might have been a bit turgid to watch.

But our last two home games have really done the trick for me.

Can't see many similarities really, I think a lot of people are looking for something that doesn't exist.

Different style of play, different signing policy and different way of dealing with the press. Only thing we've seen so far that comes across as similar is the goal celebrations.
