My post was nothing todo with you or Renegade, it was directed at Needtoknows post hence why i quoted it... :87: Maybe you were confused because i was generalising by using the world 'Tims'? Only used that because the way alot of posters on here act, they seem to think everyone in the world is a Hun and out to get Celtic, the players or the fans.

Also Renegade, trying to belittle people over the internet is lame...

i've explained that... Dudek is a friend of Leo (polish NT coach)... people here in Poland are saying that Leo wants Dudek for the goalie no 1 in NT that's why there's no place for Boruc as he's the most dangerous rival of Dudek...

of course i believe it's not true but unfortunately it looks like it is... :38:

I won't aslong as you stop trying to belittle people :37: :84:

    Indeed apology accepted though. :50:

Admittedly i don't know much about Poland's NT or their coach, but Szuwar could be on the right tracks as to why he has been dropped. It's a common occurance in international football these days... To common!

But you could also look at it as it's only a squad for a friendly, big time players get dropped in these type of games to give other players the chance to shine and stake a say. For all we know he may be back in for the games that really matter...

You hit the nail on the head. It's only a friendly! Everybody knows that Boruc and Kuszczak will by no. 1 and 2. Leo just wants to give Dudek a chance, for old times sake. He coached him in Holland a few yrs. ago, plus Dudek's agent is helping Leo out (bec. he knows the language). He owes Dudek that, especially when Dudek was left of the team for the WC. I would not panic just yet, Szuwar, if anybody's going to replace Arthur as no.1, it will be Kuszczak who just signed with MU. That won't happen too soon bec. Tomek signed as an "apprentice" and will spend most of the time on the bench. :50:

Wish I had the wording of posts I made before the World Cup, about Boruc and Poland?
Boruc played ok in the WC, however Poland didnt play too good.
Boruc I thought would have problems and I wont say he did have, but he and Poland went home early!
Boruc is a good goalie, and ever since I watched and commented on his demeanor, and recently the way he haulers at his team players, I said he had an ego, and was a bit nochalant and cocky etc, well my opinion hasnt changed he is NOT world class, and I honestly believe he is a legend in his own mind, having said that I am glad he is at Celtic he is the best for a long while, but please sports fans lets keep things in perspective, often Tic fans in this forum, and in others literally get carried away! :87:

A good goalie will yell at his players to make sure they focus, and cover their man, etc. Arthur is a good goalie. At least good enough to be a first or second string goalie for Poland. Is he world class? If he was he would've been already bought out by one of the "big" clubs.

Being nonchalant and cocky is good, shows confidence. You have to remember that goalies (in every sport) are a diff. breed of people. The're a littlebit crazy.:31: That goes w. the job. I wouldn't worry about Arthur being a bit crazy. How can you not be, getting in front of a ball that travels 100mi/hr. that's shot from 5-10 yards out.:50:

lol some of you guys make me laugh, calling leo a dirty hun :56: :56:

Boruc is number 1, like someone already mentioned his just seeing if dudek is worth keeping. Its just a friggin friendly, i about 95% sure Arthur wil start in the first euro qualifer.

When we signed him, Arsenal were going to go in for him.

The way i look at this

If the NT coach doesnt recognise Boruc's skill, their loss. Our keeper has less compilactions, im not going to loose sleep over this

I wont lose sleep either, LoL, I am quite sure I have Boruc sized up, and also I lost a helluva lot of sleep over Rab Douglas.
I still think we should look for an extra good backup goalie, however suggesting looking for good first team players and back up squad players is an exercise in futility with this * shower running the club! :47:

tea you're right without doubt it's just a friendly... but we've already revieved an alert that Dudek may be no.1 and don't tell me it's not true...
if you're interested in polish football you probably know that Leo was 'in love' with Dudek since they've met in feyenoord...

"the best goalkeeper I've seen in 30 years" - this is the sentence that Leo said about Dudek few years ago...

what is more Dudek showed us just before WC that he likes to fight for his place in goal somewhere else than on the pitch...
when Boruc was having a great season in Celtic an Dudek was sitting on the bench in L'pool poeple were starting to say that Boruc will be no.1...
and what was the move from Dudek? He invited Janas (he was polish coaach these days) for the champions league game... ask yourself what for...

tbig thanks to Dudek for all what he has done to Polish NT... he was a great goalkeeper but everyday i like him less because he can't understand his time has gone and now he's acting not serious...

now you know why i'm afraid that Leo + Dudek is not a promising duo... :87:

btw. during one germany game in WC me and my friends have a laugh at: "what would Hitler say if he had opportunity to see recent German NT?" :84:
