I'm getting it tight for defending any fans right to come and go as they please, anyone who dares leave early has been called a motherfu**er. By the way, while I'm on my soapbox, when I mentioned giving Celtic more than they've given me that doesn't just mean money, it means time and attention at the expense of friends and family.

So you gave these reasons about work and stuff what about the people you see in your stand leave then when you get back to the pub or something are sitting there drinking is that a valuable excuse because more often than not its not about work its about Getting to the pubs early so you can have your Magners before anyone else. Let me remind you those fans who do that Pubs shut at 11 not 20 to 5 on a saturday!

The fact is like 40k of the fans elft early on saturday and not everyone of them had work problems, of course its their choice but you dont go to the cinema to leave 20 mins before the end so why do it at CP?

Big L the singing section is in 445 aka the Jungle Bhoys but when its only 445 singing then its tough to get the noise around the stadium.

Fair enough, but what do you suggest? Post guards at the exits to question anyone leaving early to check their reasons for going?

last season i sat next to a guy who read the finacial times and 2 middle class woman,i turned up drunk at the hearts game and they were all tutting cos i was swearing and singing.i then got tapped on the shoulder to sit down cos i was standing up singing.i gave up my seat celtic home support are *'s pure and simple.

people say we have a problem with our away support there is no problem with them ,it's the home support that has the problem.

people don't want to sing this land is your land because it might be constrewed as 'sectarian'......amatuers.

If they had kids, it was probably because you were swearing.

That's just as bad mate. If anyone wants to sing, shout, swear (within reason) for 90 minutes they should be allowed to do so.

Political correctness gone mad, you can't sing a ballad these days without being accused of sectarianism.:31:

There is no doubt that the club is actively trying to sanitise the atmosphere at CP as part of their campaign against sectarianism. The songs played over the PA before games are abysmal. There are plenty of good bigotry free anthems which could be used, but the attitude seems to be no singing is better than the wrong type of singing.

Just a thought, but maybe if 60k never went in the first place for one week it would let the board know how brassed off we as fans are, with the lack of funds being made available to the manager. :31:

Why was it that YNWA wasn't played just before or after the players came out? The supporters would have carried on from that I'm sure as it is a brilliant song and it creates a sense of belonging between the supporters. Since its played at most big games shouldn't they play it at "small" games too?:celt_2:

It's great for the old firm and champions league games, but the song dies on its * when played before run of the mill SPL matches. Over and Over and Four Leaf Clover should be played more.

Thats offencive, me might not have the money to travel!! And if we do, how do we get of work?? Complaining about people that don't regularly go because they are miles away, jet excusing some * for leaving early just because he is 5 minutes late in the house due to traffic!!

wise up!! When Irish people go to Celtic Park, we spend all day, (Sometimes two days) travelling just to see * 90 minutes of football!!

Fair enough, I can understand were people are coming from too, but i don't hold a season ticket, when I can't go, some other * gets my place, when I can go I'll just by random tickets.

When I get enough money, (Been doing this for ages) I end up spending it all on a trip to Celtic Park.

I'm studying and working, trying to save up for a car, don't have enough money, have to take days off work and my studies, the girl complains about me not dedicating enough time to her.

I don't have the money or the time to go and watch matches, yet I do, I just hate when people say I'm less of a supporter just because I am less privileged. Its not my fault i don't have the money or I'm miles away.

There are plenty of good legitimate reasons that folk might leave early such as work or family commitments or the like which is fair enough but games like saturday is just pathetic. as soon as it hits 82 minutes week in week out about a quarter of the ground leaves and by full time you'll be lucky if theres 10,000 home supporters left. if all these folk are leaving early for such good reasons how come by the time i walk back down to the gallowgate most of the pubs are full? personally i think its * poor
