Maybe he's had a look at how we're playing and is up for a bit of that action!

At this stage, I'm just hoping he would actually prefer a move here over some of those second-rate EPL teams. Think Martin O'Neill did us a favor leaving Villa, that's a big blow to them. Where there's a will, there's a way. Def won't be getting my hopes up after Bellamy, but the closer we get to the transfer deadline, the better our chances.

They've got 8 million worth of Keane merchandise left in the warehouse. would love it but expect a surprise signing up front such as juarez or big danny

I honestly am more in hope rather than belief on this one, although as said the bellamy situation "that was out of our reach" nearlly worked out if it wasnt for his home team, i think with the way that we are playing ,creating chances and the fast flowing football ,if there is a chance to get keane he could be the final peace of the jigsaw to secure the league and a good run in europe.

because something was said a month or two ago doesnt mean the terms and conditions don't change. they also said they'd like to keep mcgeady but the terms and conditions changed. i wouldn't expect this to happen until the last minute though, similar to what happened in February

i actually think if it does happen it will probably be a buy rather than a loan,as far as wages the guy is 31 and knows that he would have to take a wage drop.

Would he not be cup-tied though? He played against Young Boys last week.

Imo a deal for Keane is possible and could be paid for by the money received for McGeady. Plus I agree with an earlier comment that alot of the money spent will be recouped from merchandise sales. So a deal can be positive commercially as well as of benefit to the team.

My slight concern is that Keane does appear to want to stay at Spurs and fight for his place although he does look to be edging towards the door following a bust up.

However I find it strange that Spurs are seemingly so desperate to sign Fabiano when he cannot play for them in the Champ League due to being cup tied (unless Seville don't qualify for the group stage). I am equally baffled why such a move would hence appeal to Fabiano. This could certainly put a spanner in the works should Keane potentially be cup tied too. On the positive side it will probably decrease his transfer value.
