Received a text message from Celtic stating that CL packages are now available for Season ticket holders to purchase @ special price of £88.

    Are they having a laugh.

    A) We don't even know the draw
    B) * all decent signings
    C) We are all skint after purchasing Season books, More new tops, just back from hols etc etc etc.

Do you get the feeling we are just being totally fleeced all the * time!!!!!:31: :31:

This is coming from a guy with 2 season tkts, shareholder, follows the Tic' all over Europe etc, buys his kids all the latest tops.

I think its time Celtic took a reality check regarding shafting the fans all the time. What do you think????

I think that the supporters should boycott something to send a message to that * board .

Hit then where it hurts in the pocket of the money men :47:

It was £91 two years ago so it's actualy cheaper.

    a. We buy Scottish Cup tickets without knowing who we will play if the other tie is a replay. This is normal as its purely for functional reasons. It's getting paid now so that everything is in place for when the CL kicks-off in September (not long).

    b. The transfer window closes in just under three weeks so there is still time to get in the three first team players Lawell has promised. Remember in the MON years? We made practically all our signings in the last week.

    c. The CL starts in September to begin once all the major European leagues have started. It's not a Uefa conspiracy to * off Celtic fans :86:

have i missed somthing here the leaflet i got through my door has the following prices for season ticket holdres for the 3 match package there is no mention of £88 tickets anywhere on this leaflet
    £84 adults
    £75 * rv
    £75 concession 16-18
    £66 concession 16-18 rv
    £63 concession
    £54 concession rv

although i do agree with you that the club are wrong in wanting the money before the draw is made i remember getting stung by this the year we were knocked out at the third qualifying stage by basil i paid for the package before we had qualified due to celtics closing date for sths that year and i had to wait 28 days before getting the money back from celtic while no doubt celtic made interest on my and many other thousands of fans money.

Yer, 60,000 seater stadium sold out EVERY GAME! Biggest away traveling support in Europe and you can't even watch League games let alone Old Firm matches on the TV anymore without paying a £195 subscription fee. And still Celtic Football Club Cant Afford to buy new Players for finantual reasons. Each shirt you buy is atleast £50 with a name and number on the back, and with a home, away and now "International" kits thats £150 if you buy them all. It's what you accept, as you say, but if the board are then saying there is not enough money. Where is it all going. If they want this club to improve, the obvious thing to to would be to spend and invest.

    Hail Hail

So let me get this right, we have to be grateful that the package is cheaper!!!!! Sorry i will send a written apology 1st thing tomorrow.

You miss the point really Murphy. years gone by we had a far superior team, i.e. Larsson, Sutty, BBJ, A younger Lenny etc etc.

With regards as MON leaving signings to the last minute. The type of player he got then was BBJ, Bellamy etc etc. Not bargain basements from the Coca Cola League.

Take the blinkers of big man, wake up and smell the coffee. Were being shafted big style.

Sorry guys, I don't really see the problem here, £84 for 3 CL games is OK. You all need to remember that when you talk about the "10million" available for reaching the CL, that includes ticket money. And I don't really need to see the draw, I would want to be at every game anyway.
