Doesn't surprise me one bit - remember the trouble the Glasgow police had with the HSV scum.

I recorded the game and saved it to watch when I got home last night. Fantastic atmosphere. St Pauli did a great job of shutting down Hamburg in the first half and not allowing them to get the ball down and play. They continued that in the second half and as the game wore on started to create a few chances. Asamoah showed a bit of spark when he came on and set up Fabian Boll's goal. It really looked like St Pauli were going to win but then out of no where it's 1-1. Still great job by the players and fans of St Pauli.

Borussia Monchengladbach and while Borussia conceded 7 at the weekend, a win is a win. St.Pauli doing alright so far. :icon_mrgreen:

Good win for Pauli tonight, hopefully they can keep this up but...

Their next opponents are Borussia Dortmund and they beat Schalke 3-1 away at the weekend in the derby they have, and I was watching that game on tv and they could've easily won by 7 goals. Also tonight they beat Kaiserslautern 5-0 at home.

Nicely tucked in midtable after 5 games. Good solid start to the season.

    tickets

Anyone know if its easy to get tickets for St Pauli home games?
Planning to head over for a game at the end of the season - Schalke or Werder Bremen in April (I presume Bayern Munich in May would be impossible...?).

Lost 3-1 today, but played well however. Pauli will bounce back from this, and anyway as I said before it was always gonna be hard to beat Dortmund in the form they are in.

And macha, its not that hard getting tickets, you just need to go to Pauli's website and then to their ticket office. Most games will go on to be general sale. I go to a few Pauli games with my brother because he lives in Hamburg.

    Let the people sing,
They're coping really well so far, continue this form they've shown there should be no problem staying up.

Nice. Is there some kind of idiom associated with the word "Zecke"? What exactly does this chant mean? "We are ticks, anti-social ticks, we sleep under bridges, and eat in the railway mission"?

Anyway, should be a good game against Hannover today, they are third right now and playing some good football.

Half Time:- Hannover 0-1 FC St. Pauli

st pauli are playing well, playing with high pressure.. Every time hannover have the ball in the centre of the park, there is at least 1 st pauli player right on his *..

Cracking goal aswell, look good value for their lead and have had the better of the chances!! :50:
