I think he would be decent......but what gets me is that Rankers are being linked with players we're supposed to be looking at...the fear factor for me is that they outbid us that would really be a brass neck!

But the fact is that on paper they are the number one team in Scotland and have won the league the last 2 years. Our downfall is they can offer him champions league (even though they will get gubbed in every game nay doubt). We need to get our title back to swing these players decisions between us or the huns.

 

Aye, the CL is a big factor to some players, money a factor for others.If it comes down to money we should be able to out muscle Rangers(i think) but the fact that they may get the odd player we are linked with too gives them the bragging rites and oh, how i hate them gloating.

I agree that this season we really need to win the title back..that gives Celtic back the status of Champions of Scotland and with that the ultimate bragging rites and if we can add CL football as a further string to our bow we should be able to attract players such as Yobo from the EPL without them even considering Rangers as an option!

This would be my ideal senario for Celtic.

Well we scouted Rogne, but it seems that either our scouts don't have an eye for a defender like they used to or we never see it as a priority.

I cannot see this one at all. For a start Everton only have 4 first team centre backs and Yobo would only leave them three. It'd probably the Huns that are in for him as a replacement for Weir. If it is its a bit worrying because they look to be signing Jelovic and Weiss (latter on loan) and quality rather than quantity.

 

That would be very strange if we're offered him and Lennon doesnt want him? Wilson is injured so a doubt we'll get him before the season. If the huns get him i'll be raging and write of our chances if they get Yobo, Wiess and Jelavic, Think the huns will be good for the league to be honest.

 

as it currently stands, i cant see us winning the league, fact is they have the better more settled team while adding a few better players to make their sqaud better, we are the ones who are supposed to have money yet they are signing all the good players and we are signing guys like daryl murphy

he was there for me on fifa 97 when i beat random countries 20-0 in the indoor football game you could play. haha admittedly i was 6 at the time and thought australia was the best at football....hahah

they need to get their fingers out? what more do you suggest they do? we've brought in NINE players and tried to sign many more, do you think they're just sitting around letting the window pass them by because thats not how it looks to me.
