does anyone know why hinkel hasnt been included in the 25 man squad for tomarra nites game?

When from what i thought to be one of are best players to not even getting into the squad

 

i would have played him Lb tomorrow

 

Cause they want him out the club ,

High earner , he wanted a new deal Celtic would not match what he is on ie 30k a week , so either he's sold now or signs on a pre contract in jan ,

 

Its an opinion that he is one of our best players. For me, I'm going to be glad to see the back of him .

 

Celtic are obviously looking to sell him and playing him in a European tie would damage the chances of getting him sold before the end of the month.

 

Club wants to sell rather than letting him leave for nothing and don't want him to be cup tied for europe, don't think Lenny rates him too highly either.

Shame, puts in a decent shift most of the time, but Cha seems to be first pick over him anyway, don't think he'd want to stay as backup after being a starter for so long.

 

He's been treated terribly by Lennon if we're being honest about it.

Always liked Hinkel. Will be sad to see him go.

 

To be fair here he was making noises well before the world cup that he wanted to move back to his homeland ..Wife had enough by all accounts ..You cant blame lennon for this

 

Still comes off a bit disrespectful to just dismiss him like this, he's been a true professional for us ever since signing and I don't really recall seeing any direct quotes, just rumours about being fed up with Scotland.

 

can't blame anyone. theres plenty of reasons why he is not in the squad or played much at all pre-season. Seems he wants to leave, lennon has accepted this and is not including him so we can sell him.
Think he's been a great asset for us but we've lost Boruc and Mcgeady so it would make sense he goes.

 

So would i actually. Dont understand people wanting him gone.

 

It might be that he's spoken to Lenny and they have agreed on a few things with a view to a way back to Germany. Who knows??

Done the cruciate, out for 9 months....;-(

 

Just heard that he has ruptured his cruciate knee ligaments he won't be going anywhere now , hope he's back to fitness soon .

 

Poor laddy!

Isnt his contract up at the end of this season? Can see him maybe signing a pre-contract with a Bundesliga side if it is.

Im gettin * off with all these injuries. somethings not right with the training because for the past 2 seasons we have had a ridiculous amount of injuries compared to other teams. I mean the new seasons about 2 weeks old and we have rogne, ??mcourt, hinkel, hooper. maloney usually lasts 3 games then out for six months, loovens is always gettin injured as is hooiveld. * is going on.
