    Come on guys, Gordon Strachen is experementing, he dosen't have a left back (yet) so this is the time to try it out in a pre-season friendly. Anyway, if it worked against Chelsea, which it did, why wont it work against the likes of St Mirren?

    i'm far from saying he is poor. no poor manager makes a double in his first season (no matter how pish opponents were)... but he makes me really * off by his love to Telfer... isn't Telfer his family member or something?...

    MILK WAS A BAD CHOICE..
    for one, roberto carlos is seriously overrated (ross wallace would probably be a better option nowadays!.. same height, too!!),
    two, why can a player not convert to a different position and be a success? in that case sol campbell should have stayed a striker, henry as a winger

    .. he played as a left back against world class opponents and done well.. what that says to me, and obviously others here, is that he must be doing something right!!

    it was a conscious decision to attempt to make a decent left back from him in the last 18 months.. why don't we just wait and see if he can make that transition fully over the coming months before writing the lad off for the rest of his career!!

    we have unearthed a gem of a right back in wilson.. if we could fluke a left back out of wallace it would be no bad thing!! gotta be a better all round proposition than camara and telfer..

    'course if we could get bridge in the meantime...

    hail, hail :celt_2:

    I never saw th game, but as far as i see it, We need a left back so lets get a left back instead of putting a great young winger in a position that he doesnt play

    We should give him a chance in the next 2 games, what are the options, F**King Telfer. If Wallace holds what he showed last night, he will do for me!

    So basically what everyone is saying is;

    One of our lads had a good game in our troubled position against some of the worlds best players but because he had one or two bad games last season, we should continue with the Telfer and Wilson combination that is, quite franky, f@cking rotten?

    Great thinking there.
