    Tony Mowbray ?

Is he doing much these days ? Or is he still in hiding ? Obviously after last season it's going to be hard for him to get another job but I've not heard a peep about him in so long. Thought he would have came out with an interview by now.

    Landry N'Guemo ?

Went back to Nancy ? Does he still play first team football for them ? Good player but have to say I prefer our midfield now.

    Mark Venus ?

Left with Mowbray of course but not heard his name in a long time either. I heard Grant come out a few months ago and apologize about last season. Still work with Mowbray ? Remember his interview last season ... "I don't know what the grand plan is ... You know, Grand means big. Bottom line, Stephen Mcmanus is a Celtic Player" :56:

Anybody give me an update ? Cheers

Listen bhoys and ghirls TM was a good celt in my eyes and theres a few idots on here who really give him a hard time because he fcuked up.
I was as dissapointed as anyone last year but its time to move on and stop getting on TMs case, Ive read somewhere that he really took his failure bad and is going through a bad case of depression.

I hope he pulls through and finds himself a decent football club and starts to do well with them.

Mowbray will probably end up getting another job soon enough. Possibly in the championship or something

I really wished he succeeded at Celtic. Likable guy with just very little enthusiasm. If he did take a bad turn when we sacked him then I hope he picks himself up and dusts himself down.

if that is true, that's too bad but he needs to get a grip on reality. you know what depression is? the millions of mothers and fathers that don't know how they're gonna feed their weans tomorrow or the next day, that's depression. he lost the plot tryin to manage a football club, bein a stubborn * all the way. he's a good celt no doubt, he's human, he mucks things up from time to time like everyone does but if he's depressed, he needs to pull his finger out and get on his next project. he made a fuckton of money as a result of that failure and should be thankful that he's got the means to have a comfortable lifestyle. anyway, what he's doing now or will be doing won't have anything to do with us so i'm not too concerned about it

Don't think he'll have much trouble getting a job tbh.

Did a decent job with west brom, then led Celtic to 2nd place in the league, only 6 points behind the league champions.

I know that's like a * disaster to us lot - but to most observers, it's not that bad going.
    He'll be OK.

Don't want to be a negative ( especially after Lenny making all the right noises, buying the right players and doing what needs to be done with our squad ), but I just hope, that should Lenny every fail like Mowbray, he doesn't get the same treatment and leave us in a similar if not worse state than Mowbray. Lennon has a reasonable and at the same time unreasonable excuse if he flops ( inexperience and he was hardly ever going to turn down the Celtic job after his success as interim manager ) ... Mowbray, Grant and Venus deserved a lot of the stick they got ( some they didn't ) ... But I have all the faith in Lenny to succeed. Huns bragged about how money couldn't buy team spirit ... well we have money ... and team spirit now :50:

Hold on, but isn't Mowbray managing Swansea now?

But with Mowbray's players. Any fool can turn around an ailing team of decent players for the last few games of a season, just by being a different face and changing the dynamic. It doesn't tell us much about Lennon's capabilities as a manager, any more than it tells us about Mowbray's.

Most outside observers would look at that situation and say, "* - he took them to 2nd place and they sacked him before a year was out - what a screwed up mindset." They would see something bizarre about Celtic, rather than something awful about Mowbray.
